New Up And Coming LatiDoll Blue Line BOYS!!! Discussion Thread

Started a waiting room thread here, cause I'm an impatient wretch. XD

 

Has Latidoll released measurements for these boys yet? I LOVE the facesculpts (RYU! SQUEEE!!!!) but the bulge where the neck joins the head is rather disturbing.

Blue body size

height : 46 cm
neck : 8.5 cm
head : 6.5~7 inch
bust : 20 cm (19.7 cm for B type)
west : 16.5 cm
pelvis : 18.4 cm
hip : 20 cm
arm (to the wrist) : 14.5 cm
west~ankle : 27 cm
foot : 6 cm

 

It's at the nape of the neck. It's more obvious on Rei (B body link), but that could be because his face seems a little smaller than Ryu's. It's not a MAJOR major flaw, I just have a thing about necks.XD

 

Yeah, these eyebrows have pretty much no emotion... I'm sure when they implement the custom face-up orders, it's change everything.

 

As the LEs are the only ones that have been released for sale so far and to the best of my knowledge they haven't shipped yet, I'm guessing it's still a mystery. Also, they've noted that the body in its final iteration differs slightly from the ones pictured in that it has a double-jointed knee; not sure how that'll affect kickiness.

Since I'm not familiar with them, how kicky are the girls? Are we talking MNF-kicky, or something a little milder? o_0

 

I'm a little confused. Your sig says your Ophelia is a DIM girl. I'm not sure how it follows that Lati Blue boys would necessarily have a kicky problem. Or did I miss something?

Either way, Lati's redesigned the girls as well and have a replacement program going. I imagine they've worked out any old problems on that body before designing this one.

I'm on cloud nine knowing I've got one of these guys coming!

 

My LD Cara has the old type body, and she's not kicky at all.

 

aww.. i hope not to long..i may even be thinking of sticking my mnf Shiwoo head to one of these bodys (resin match doenst matter to much...he's gonna be a heavy mod)

On the subject of the eyebrows... I don't think you guys would have to worry about it too much, since Lati has released info on their "Premium Make-Up Service" where you can choose brow styles. Though I wish that had more styles, like... curved happy eyebrows. Not just ">D" and "|D" though it makes me wonder if that will be availible in the girl category-- so maybe I could request it...

The tattoo thing is adorable, though. Along with the piercing. So totally going to get a arm-thigh-band tattoo if I do snag one of these boys. XD

 

I wish I could see a latiboy with thinner eyebrows. Sure I like the manly thick ones they are always given, but I'd still like to see one in a more dramatic sort of faceup.

I also can't believe how nicely they are priced, wow! Makes me want one, but I really want a MNF, so I don't know how a more realistic doll would look like with a more stylized doll. :\ I think I might not like the look of them together.

 

I'm painting my guys face with thin eyebrows myself. I'm going for a certain look...and those eyebrows..well, They just aren't cutting it.
My roomates have two minifees, so hopefully we'll have a bunch of comparison pictures when he gets here. One thing I know already though, is he is going to be a little bit taller XD

 

I was just wondering if anyone had pictures of the difference between the slender and muscular bodies. I tried the web site, but I couldn't find anything.

The actual measurements of the two body types only differ very slightly, and only in the chest measurement; as near as I can tell, the only piece of the bodies that differs is the upper torso. This also comes with the caveat that they've stated the final-production bodies will have (if I recall correctly) a rotating thigh and double-jointed knee.

[edit: oops! Just noticed they've changed the pics a little so you can't see below the waist anyway. Guess we just get to imagine thighs and knees. ^_^;; ]

The difference, from what I can see, is not just in the chest. A Type has larger triceps, which you can see pretty well on the second picture down for both of them. It curves larger. Also, A Type has much larger thighs, which is especially noticeable at the knees.

I couldn't even register on the site to post on the Q&A board (I wanted to ask if the girl heads would fit on the boy body-- specifically Cara-- I ended up emailing them).
