1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Have you cchanged the name/spelling of some of your sculpts??

When I bought one of my heads a few years back it was called Juri but now it's Juli on the website....?

    3. I guess it's like translations from japanese?

It's like Rina or Lina Inverse in mangas: sometime it was Rina and sometime it was Lina.

    4. Yes, I understand that it means and/or sounds the same but it used to be written on the website as "Juri", both for the images of the sculpt, and in the price list, and now it's been changed to "Juli" for both (and to confuse things even more, is written as "Jury" on the blog).

    5. The speech sounds for R and L are the same in Korean. Pronunciation is kind of between the two English sounds. The symbol in Hangul is ㄹ for both. When translated to English it’s a choice what is used. Maybe the two names were translated into English by different people or Google translate.

    6. All three of these would be spelled as 쥬리. (j-yu-r-ee) Hangul is a phonetic letter alphabet much as English is, but obviously they are not 1:1 identical. I doubt the confusion is intentional, even I sometimes spell the same thing multiple ways when I come back to it in English at different times and I've lived in the US for many years now.
