1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Noble Dolls Discussion Part 1

Apr 12, 2012

    1. What are you using? And what did you remove the face up with? There is no reason the resin will not take chalk pastels. If it is too cold or humid you will have trouble with the sealant. It can go glossy. Also if your sealant is old, you may have problems.

    2. Well I used Volks Thinner and a Magic eraser. It's what I've used for the past 3 years I've done faceups and I've never had any issues before :( I tried using Purity Seal AND Mr Super Clear on her and neither were working.

I am hoping it's attributed to the weather, because I've never had any issues like this before while painting. x_x

    3. I am not familiar with Purity seal, but MSC should be fine, it must be the weather. She is made of the same resin as all dolls from Jpop so it is not the doll. I have however gotten MSC that was not good. I had 6 cans I bought from a dealer and all 6 sprayed shiny...but the weather has a lot to do with it too. In winter , I turn up the heat when painting and never paint at night when humidity is higher.

    4. Grael, I was wondering how the colors of the resin is chosen ? I know you won't offer much "fantasy" colors because it's less popular (which I totaly understand), but what's the minimum number of people resquesting a particular color ? I'd really love a light green Radicelle, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one :D

    5. We have a new wig and so.... a new look ;)

    6. Oh, she is so pretty! I've seen a chocolate Raspberry in real life and now I want one too.

    7. She is gorgeous!! Thank you for share your doll, it makes the waiting more quickly :)

    8. Anaveris - she is stunning with those shining eyes and silky hair. I must say I like her in tan so much better...

    9. I love her anaveris!

    10. So beautiful! I love her new wig.

    11. Hey guys! I am pleased to say I now have a beautiful Raspberry in NS! She is possibly my favourite sculpt of all time and I'm so pleased to own her! One thing has been bugging me though and I wondered if you could help. The resin of my girl is quite yellow in comparison to my Minifee girls and I was wondering how you all found her in NS? The seller was so lovely and assured me she had been taken care of and that her resin had not yellowed, but I just wanted to be sure x

    12. The normal skin dolls are more "fleshy" colored. Minifee are usually more "white" normal...Can you show us a photo?

    13. I don't have one but I'll post when I'm able to photograph her :) my MNfs are definitely more pink than white though :p if anything, I'd say my Raspberry is more white than any of my FL dolls!

    14. Teacups-and-Teddies - I think you have what I have, very first Jpop release Raspberry. She was called 'fair' and although she is way more light as any of my NS dolls, she is not quite as china-white and the later, winter white release. I like the color although I normally prefer more fleshy pink NS.

    15. My lovely Gigi in a gypsyesque outfit.

    18. I can't wait to receive mine!
