I've received a mail stating that my Raspberry has been "successfully completed" ! I hope that means she's shipping from the factory to jpop ^^
I received too!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! They updated the website and says Raspberries is Shipping from Jpopdolls. Anyone knows if Jpop send an email with the tracking number? Edit: I just check the status of the order on the website and the tracking number is in the invoice.
I just wish my parcel was sent Priority like I paid for. It's nice to have a free upgrade to EMS and I don't mean to sound ungrateful! But I chose priority for several reasons. Parcelforce charge ยฃ13.50 on top of the customs charge for express parcels, and it gets held up in customs for a week or more regardless so it's not really express. That and grael stated in this thread that Priority is better if you want a chance of it getting through customs (though I doubt it wouldn't get caught by customs, but then I'd only be paying ยฃ8 and it'll take the same amount of time). But now I'm going to be technically paying more for my shipping.
I don't know how works customs on UK but here, in Spain I've calculated I will pay 130€ more or less (around 170$) and probably customs takes a month to finish the process... About all the shipping options Jpops give, I chose the cheaper, because probably takes the same time to arrive and I have to pay more on customs. Yes, I have to pay taxes for shipping amount too. Since Asella couldn't cast more Raspberries, all the Europeans customers are ruined. The decision of buy mine was painful, I really love this girl but she will be the most expensive MSD ever (at least of my life) XD Anyways, I don't know how much could take the USPS shipping comparing with Korean EMS. D-storic send me a replacements parts box the Tuesday 9th and yesterday Friday 12th, it arrives on my home! I'm very surprised about the quickness of the EMS. I hope these Raspb's don't take much time. Please show us our dolls when arrives!!
Gah the tracking number tells me my doll hasn't been picked up yet ;A; I hope she'll get to me before I have to leave my hometown, otherwise I might not get her untill christmas :C
My Rasp' is finally on the move ! Now I'll keep my finger crossed to avoid the dreaded custom fee... Mmm I've decided to giver her some teal or lime colored hair, but I don't know what eye color could suit her, she'll be my first grey skin doll D:
I've never owned a full Artist doll before. I'm really excited! And as soon as I saw her I just knew I had to get her, I'm just so glad a release came with her in a natural skin tone (nothing against fantasy colours, I love them! Just wouldn't work for the character I have in mind!) I've even set up my sewing machine I've had for years and never done anything with, so hopefully I can make some things for her when she arrives!
Aww. All of us are very excited! ^^ Mine is in Spain since yesterday but looks like it will be all the month on customs... I hope yours skip them and ypu got your dollies soon ^^
I got my doll this weekend. Jpops and customs give me a nice surprise. She's incredible, her body isn't perfect but it's very very cute. I love the color skin, the white is a bit translucent and she comes fully sanded, I really appreciate. Here's you got a photo still without make up.
