Oceanmoon Tinies Discussion

Ah, @clochette! Your So-Na's a cutie! She's an original Eun-Ryoung, right? It's cute how you show her climbing, that same spirit of mischief radiates from my Eun-Ryoung too.

Oceanmoon has put up photos of Yuzuki with faceup on their flickr, gosh she's pretty! And!
A new 22cm body in the works, with the new girl GaBi, photographed alongside all their current editions which are in production. Looks like her hands and feet are being sculpted from square 1, and the overall shape of the body is rather pudgy and babylike Which, I dunno, maybe is due to being in the early stage of sculpting process, but is kinda adorable and might be intended as the body shape. She reminds me of a kitty.

 

HaYan's preorder showed up out of nowhere!
I'll collect her eventually (debating whether to preorder or to wait for a Code Noir collab, because I really love what they do with OM dolls..!)
She is perfect for my second OC, Aedisa!

And also Sa-yu ChongLan is available and even being shown with a faceup! He looks wonderful! Have you seen?!

 

I adopted a Pre-Renewal Eun-Ryoung recently! That was something I sort of thought would never be possible (because who would ever give one up?!) But I was fortunate to get her from a home that had taken very good care of her.

Two years of collecting BJDs started with me trying to accomplish THIS! This character!

Maybe it has all circled around, seeing that I have at last ended on the first sculpt I ever fell for. But being able to combine her with the new, (Oceanmoon Sister) girlish body that makes her not look like a toddler makes me see Eun Ryoung differently. She finally looks right for the character I started out looking to shell in a BJD.

With a fragrant white rose in her hands, I posed her for some night photos of her to send fan mail to the sculptor. I saved the best shot as a "your eyes only" photo for Se-yeon, but would like to share a few of the others around with friends and fellow fans.



Ah, @Snowy your SoHa is so perfectly put together in that outfit and setting! He is really special. The white ethereal body makes an ideal kitsune! And that Temari ball, someone must have worked hard on an elaborate item so tiny! It completes the scenes cutely. I understand how one good doll can satisfy the cravings for an entire size range! My BoNee fufills all my 1/3 scale interests. But their little ones.. I just want to meet each of them and then when I do I can't bear to part.

@hobbywhelmed with apologies for a long delayed reaction, welcome! I'm so glad you found the thread! I believe I have seen your Tonbo before, (but not this adorable puddlejumping shot!) but if so then she must have been one of those who first caused me to fall for the original Eun Ryoung. I remember enchanting, glowing light eyes like that..! To have had your girl for so many years.. that's really awesome! It's great that she still gets out and about!

Oh, so, are the two portraying the same character at different ages?

I’m really missing Oceanmoon so badly, still seriously grieving from their closing. And they have recently taken down their blog and site as well. It feels like having lost a friend.

Thanks to a tip from a local pal, I have an Eun-ho incoming! I’m so excited. Now just need Lin, SeoLin, SoHa, and the sleepy faces (EunRyoung, ChongLan) to complete the reunion of their family of tinies. One of these days I gotta get them dressed up and take pics!
