1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Orientdolls choco vampire discussion

Jan 24, 2007

    1. If it's the Feb07 HD mag then there was a picture of three different wings (angel, bat/demon, butterfly/petal), a body and two vampire heads, all unattached. See the end of the Orient Doll interview..

I'd like to know what kind of clothes would be best to accommodate the pegs too. I want a chocolate one and a white one. I was already planning on getting a couple so I've got money saved for them... Now I have to decide which head to go with which colour and gender... Decisions, decisions, decisions...

    2. Well Kelly/Tommy clothes (the old-style body, not the super-skinny big-headed one or the new gigantic version; check eBay or your local Target store) fit and are fairly inexpensive, so you could always just take a pair of scissors & snip a hole for the wing peg.

    3. I've been considering getting a Tiny for a while now.. but oh man, with the release of these little guys, I'm doomed! They're affordable, and so cute..! And interchangeable wings? YES PLEASE!

    4. Yeah, for Drow children. My Latidoll Laches has White makeup also.

I just found out the wings are held on by Magnets. I wonder if they would sell some extra magnets, I would love to sink some magnets in the back of my Latidoll laches, so he can wear wings also.

    5. Have you ever posted any pictures? I tried search but came up empty.

    6. I ordered a stash of earth magnets in various sizes from. I'd love to see drow children pics

    7. The good news is doesn't seem like they're limited edition and yes there are 7 wings with the chocolate and 4 wings withthe white or normal skin jus read from the Q&A

    8. Yeah, they are the cutest. Just preordred from our local seller in town, and getting a Ji Boy and Ye Girl. I can't wait. Yum, yum, yum.:fangirl::fangirl:

    9. No, I have never posted any pictures of my tinies. I can't get any good pictures of them with my camera, they are too small. I tried with baby Gaara and gave up, when he turned into a blurry glowing mess.

    10. I just got an answer from Orientdoll, no white makeup for me. Looks like I will have to get someone to paint them for me.

Who does the best most inexpensive tiny painting?

    11. blackrose you mean you got an answer from orientdoll ;)

Yay I got ok from husband I can get one in dark and one in white

    12. No kidding...I was about to fall off my chair in shock, answer from Wishel ;)

I wonder what colors they are going to use, I'm guessing the eyebrows would have to be fairly dark, considering how dark that resin appears to be. I wonder if the wings themselves will be blank or have some sort of paint/shading on them.

    13. I'm now trying to figure out which size eyes go well with orientdoll the recommended 8mm or 6mm

Clochette: I know I would cerainly fall off the chair too if wishel got on their feet and answered inquiries.

    14. Yeah, orientdoll. My brain is not work well this morning.

I am getting a dark skinned Ye boy and a white skinned Ji girl.

    15. Yeah, Orientdoll. Like Wishel will ever sell dark skinned dolls anytime soon. I gave up on them.

I bet the wings are blank. I am just going to buy my dark skinned doll paint free and paint him here with white paint.

    16. I'm thinking of a dark skinned Ye and a white skin Ui, both girls. I'm thinking of doing more faceup practice o getting them blank too.

    17. I've never done a face up. Would I dare on my first doll? I don't know.

    18. I got my first doll with a faceup. I ended giving her a new faceup later. But as my husband said getting a faceup on the first doll is good to see how they are painted in person.

I've heard many disappointed in getting their first doll w/o a faceup. It all depends on your comfort level in painting

    19. Do you think the dark skinned vamps really need a face up?

And does anyone know if the difference between the $200 or $135 is how many wings you get?

    20. The difference between the $200 and $135 is 3 pairs of wings and a pair of 8mm glass eyes

Faceups add character even in dark skinned dolls, but it's one thing you can save money on
