Thinking about ordering dandy Han when they open them next. But I can't pick what color. Someone has a blue-grey han for sale right now but I think I want red or green. But I also like the lavender and pink color.

I adore yours, she so pretty! You take really nice photos of her. I never really did much with mine after getting her. I guess that needs to be on my 2026 doll list of things to do and not to mention my Rose gal who has only been out of her box a few times. Oops

I think your girl has the same faceup as mine, just different resin colour. Photos can be tricky depending on lighting, camera and skill/knowledge of photography. I'm actually not a knowledgeable photographer - I always found it difficult to follow and learn all the technicalities. So, I rely on a user-friendly camera - Canon Eos T3i DSLR. I mostly take photos on Auto, but with the mode dial turned to "AV". I use a prime lense = 50mm. I just play around with shutter speed and aperture settings, until I get pictures that I like in that light - take a bunch of them with different poses, and edit the ones I like the most for posting. I use Painshop Pro 2023 for that.

I'm rather grateful for digital photography becoming more available in the earlier 2000's. Without it, I would have felt too intimidated to waste film.

 

@miffimifster Awe thank you for the information. You do well, if photographed properly you get the glow that the company shows in their photos.

I get lucky once in a while. I used to use my Canon and macBook but I’m really disappointed in Apple and Mac how they make things more difficult and financially more in favor of their profits rather the longevity of their products like in the past.

Now my Mac is obsolete I just use my IPhone, and it’s really not as good as a DSLR that’s for sure! Unfortunately, I can’t transfer anything from my MacBook now they made it obsolete.

GeekSquad said Mac makes their computers obsolete after 7 years now.

 

Oh wow... I didn't know that! That's pretty awful!
I've been a PC user throughout, so not aware of all these issues with Apple products. I hope that you can figure something out - Maybe there are more workarounds that GeekSquad can't really tell you about? Try looking up tutorials online, chat-groups, or YouTube tutorials...

 

@miffimifster Thank you, that is how I found out. I took my MacBook to the GeekSquad to add more memory. My Mac is older and I needed more memory to update the IOS system. My mac is literally perfect! Never ever had an issue, I just need more memory and when I took it there, that’s when I found out the bad news…… Honestly once you use Apple/Mac products, it’s so easy that you (IMHO) never go back.

Oh well, I’ll get better with my phone or at least try! I get good photos near a window sometimes.
