Petition to get Little Jr. know as a Mini

Sorry for the long delay, a lot of mods are on vacation or going to cons, so it's been hard to get a consensus.

The Little Junior threads are being moved to the mini section (if you find one in the Tiny section, please hit the 'report thread' button and write us a note, and we'll move it as well), and Little Juniors are "officially" minis for DoA purposes

We still don't have a guideline for whether other similarly-sized dolls will be moved to the Mini category (Narsha is more tiny-proportioned), and that's what's been holding us up, trying to set up new guidelines -- but Little Juniors will be in the Mini section from now on, although they may be the exception in terms of size.

At the risk of having things thrown at me, Little Junior girls are exactly the same size as Narsha.

 

Thanks, Stella Maris -- we know, that's why it's taken so long to try to hammer out a compromise. Since Little Juniors can wear mini-sized clothes and are roughly the proportions of minis (and since a number of Little Junior owners wanted them moved), we decided to 'grandfather' them into the Mini category.

We haven't made a determination as to whether we're going to change the size range for minis, or whether Little Juniors will be a single exception, or what. There haven't been enough mods around to work out the details

We did want to issue a determination since a lot of people had been waiting on this specific question, though.

I guess the risk of projectiles depends on whether you're arguing for Little Juniors or Narshas. The Little Junior issue appears to be settled; dunno if Narsha would need a separate quasi-debate thread to get sorted out.

I have 3 Little Juniors and one coming. I think they are more like minis and hope we can discuss them here as I am a big fan of them.

um, so was a decision made about Classic Ai? I only have SDs and Bahas to compare her with, but to me she's a 1/3 scale size child since she seems proportional to my SDs only like a 6 year old or so ...

 

I am pretty sure only Little Junior male and female got moved to Minis.

lol, well you know it's all about *ME*.

I can take photos of her w/ my SDs ... if you consider that she has an "immature" body of maybe a 6-year old she's actually 1/3 proportional though of course she is shorter than an SD ... and she has an SD size head.

 

So, do you think she'd actually qualify as a "Larger Doll" because she fits in with them proportionally? (Eeesh, this is confusing, LOL -- companies are coming out with so many sizes now!)

I'd probably classify her as a Mini, unless there was some pressing reason not to. But, yeah, with the larger head, it's hard to say! How do her hands compare with your SD-sized crew?
