@edwardsgoldeneyes First, do you mean Mini like the MSDs, or Mini like the smaller (YoSD) girls they have? (I'm starting to think the title of this thread is confusing.) But anyway, the waiting time was rather long. It seems like after the order is ready to ship, you have to pester them on the Q&A board for them to actually ship it. However, they are fairly quick at responding to questions in my experience.
Did I know you were getting a Riz? Have you gotten her? The Planetdolls are VERY addicting. They are so beautiful and unusual-looking. *oops!* Double post, my bad!
I hope so too, but I'm still a bit angry because it took her so long to reply to my emails... The invoice for my order came after 10 days. -_- Two days after I paid she went to the hospital. I can only trust that she has good reasons. And to be honest I'm very okay with waiting; my girl's wig was ordered in a Leeke GO that hasn't been shipped from Leeke anyway yet.
@Evelien Oh wow! Well I hope she's ok, at least that's an explanation though. I hope your girl and her wig ship soon.
I just received an email from Jen from Sweet 'n Honey. She came home from the hospital yesterday. She's very sorry that it took so long to ship my Planetdoll Riz and she will do so tomorrow and add a little gift. I feel a bit sorry for getting so frustrated and angry in my emails at some point, because an in-stock doll shouldn't take a month to ship, but I only heard very late that she was in the hospital .
My Riz arrived yesterday! Jen included a Nine9Style tulle skirt as a gift. I did her faceup right away and added massive lashes cause I wanted a dramatic look :P. She'll be a nekomimi (cat girl) but I'll be adding her kitty ears once I receive the wig I ordered in a Leeke GO. I didn't add eyebrows because they would have killed my faceup (I'm so bad at doing them...) and she won't need them because a) her wig has bangs :P and b) she's a nekomimi and I permitted myself some artistic freedom there :P Meet my sweet Manoeur, the way she looks right now: Planetdoll Riz by Ev's Dolls ♫, on Flickr
She looks wonderful- nice job on the face-up, and I'm with you, I HATE DOING EYEBROWS and I'm really bad at it. Any time they turn out half-way decent it is a complete accident, lol. I'm so happy she finally arrived- she was worth the wait, right?
You mean the lower ones? I was really surprised they came out this well after I only tried this technique before on my Anne!
She's so cute! I LOVE the big, dramatic lashes on her! And...I really can't wait to see her finished, either!
She's wonderful! I love her eyelashes! I suck at eyebrows too....most of my dolls have to have bangs because of it. I can't wait to see her when she's finished!!
