Planetdoll 41cm, 43cm and 45cm Discussion Part 2

My Emma has shipped! She'll be here Friday, at least according to the early UPS estimate! I can't wait for her to get here! *excited*

 

Gosh it's been ages since I last posted on here. Everyone's girls are looking lovely and so many tanned beautys - you are all tempting me so!!

@Ayas-Shadow not long to wait now! I look forward to seeing pictures of her.

 

Can it be tomorrow yet? Lol. I can't wait for Anna (my Emma) to get here! I bought her wig last night, too, and am just waiting on shipping for it from the seller...then, of course, I'll need to wait for a good day to give her a face-up that I actually have the TIME to do so...with the 'bouncy' weather we've been having, between winter weather, and spring like weather, it's not likely to happen for a little while, since the spring-like weather seems to like to happen on days I just can NOT set the time aside for things like face-ups (I've got 2 other dolls needing them right now, too) And I'll need to look up some patterns and do some sewing for her, too.

 

Argh! You guys are making me even more impatient for my Roseanne! She's been stuck in US customs for a week and I am getting very worried :<

 

Well, my Emma is here...but...I could almost cry! She shipped without a headcap. Aside from that she adorable and perfect, though! I sent an e-mail to DDE and hope to get the headcap thing fixed, fast and easily...here's hoping.

 

Oh no! Oh I hope they sort the headcap out for you soon. But glad to hear the rest of her is ok.

@vanzinger - I hope your Roseanne arrives soon. I sent a head to the US a little while back and once he arrived in New York the tracking didn't change for about 11days then all of a sudden on the 12th day he was delivered. So maybe customs are just being a little slow.

 

@Ayas-Shadow - without a headcap!? Wow, that's kind of a big oversight there... I hope they just forgot to put it in the box for some reason and it'll get there soon :<

@pippin - oh really!? That's reassuring, thank you so much. My dad was all "oh she could be there a month" and stressing me out, so it's nice to hear that it happens and it's not a big problem or something

 

I find myself drawn to these dolls. I love their bodies and their faces. Riz is just perfect in my opinion.

 

YAY! New headcap has been shipped, and is in my city already! Should be here in tomorrow's mail. ^-^

 

YAY! Headcap for Anna is here! Boo...magnets are backwards compared to her head. So...it's in the box with her until I have the time tonight to work on getting the glue to give, and flip the magnets around. But hey! It's HERE and that's what matters!

 

i just LOVE these planetdoll sweethearts! The first doll I eve ordered was my lovely Noemi(Riz). Though it took few months to get her, but it was worth it. I had few weeks ago a feeling, that I might sell her, she just didn't feel right. But then I changed her hair and her style, and fell in love again So now I just have to show her new hair to ya all

 

She is so CUTE! I LOVE the new wig! And the fabric for her little top is great, too!

 

YAY! FINALLY got the magnets out of the new headcap! Anna will have her headcap soon. ^-^ I still need to re-glue the magnets in, right way round, but I'll get to it a little later. My kids want dinner, so it's cooking now.

I just got Lolita today - figures she'd show up on Leap Day, might not have shown up at all otherwise. That's just how she is: lost and forgotten and totally out of sync. My landlord even forgot to put her on my doorstep for several hours after she'd arrived, apparently -.-
Might try to do a faceup for her tomorrow if weather permits, and will see about getting her a dress or something too. She's supposed to be a little androgynous here and there, but Tuesday's tshirt is a little more than I expected. It's actually rather freakish, she TOTALLY looks like me in what she's wearing right now.

So here she is in faceless (and unexpectedly derpy-eyed) glory... Lolita!



I have to say, I absolutely adore her hands. She's strung really tightly and it's a bit of a challenge to get her to sit, but her resin is toothy and gorgeous and once I got her shoes on she stands like a rock~

My girl's wig is in the mail! Now...to find her some eyes...then while she'll be face-less for a little while yet, all I'll need is to dress her...and get my hands on a camera...and I can share her.

Mirrin, Avery is such a classic beauty! Her wig and eyes look just great on her.

Anna, my Emma, has her headcap on properly now, yes! And she has her wig and eyes on the way! I hope to get an outfit sewn up for her this weekend. Then all she'll need is shoes (if I can't get them right making them myself) and her face-up done (as soon as the weather permits) and she'll be good. ^-^ But as soon as she has her eyes, wig, and outfit, I'll start spamming photos of her...even if they're just cellphone pics. ^-^ I just love her! Even blank, bald, eye-less, and naked!
