For my own tastes, as far as "pregnant dolls" go, I think I'd prefer being able to buy a padded faux baby bump for use in photoshoots (that I could easily put on with no mods, and tuck away easily later) to a permanently pregnant doll, but I can definitely see the appeal of being able to do photos and poses where said bump isn't covered in clothing. In a case like that, I think it wouldn't be that difficult to have a second pregnant torso (two-part torso with the joint under the bust), where the pieces could be swapped out through restringing.

      I'd love to see more range of body size in general, though. Taller, shorter, chubbier, waifish; something to give collections more variety than "group of models hanging out." It's why I love my pear-shaped girl, with her chubby rear and slight stomach pudge; more variety in more than just the face sculpts would be awesome to see.

      Her top half is still very skinny, and she doesn't have quite as much pudge as others I've seen, but her hips and thighs rival some of my larger dolls in scale, and she easily fits into MSD-scale bottoms, even though she's technically a tiny. She actually reminds me of some real-life hippy-figured people I've known, and offers some fun variety in a collection of traditionally hourglass-figured girls.

      I think it'd be fun to see some apple-shaped ladies to go along with the pear-shaped that are becoming easier to find, though. :D

    7. I don't think I'd be too interested in getting a pregnant doll, but I'd love a chubby doll! :) I'm on the chubby side myself so it would be a good match, haha. I'd be concerned about being able to find clothes though; doll clothes I've seen online have all been tailored to skinny or athletic builds and body types. So that means limited clothing choices, which takes a bit away from the fun in my opinion. :(

    8. i prefer thinner dolls over chubby dolls but that is my own personal opinion. Though, i do think that chubby dolls should be created and people should be able to purchase chubby or pregnant dolls because everyone has something they prefer even if some, might not like their preference. so, even though i am not all that interested in chubby dolls i think that if people are interested, by all means they should buy one or support the creator that is making a chubby doll and show the doll off and be proud about their investment.

    9. I wanted a pregnancy for one of my dolls, but would NEVER have wished an eternal pregnancy on her. So, I got out the clay and covered her with plastic wrap and shaped a belly for the duration. When it dried I had her storyline go with it, then took it off and gave her the baby that had finally arrived.

    11. A chubby doll that's NOT a tiny would make me very happy. I'd love a set of dolls that were all sized to match each other as a family, with the mommy pregnant. But not as much as I'd like a full-figured MSD or SD.

    16. A permanently pregnant doll would be pretty weird to me, as others have said. But I can get having a padded baby bump or something for doll maternity photos lol. Wouldn't be something I'd do but I can understand the appeal, after all there are pregnant barbies.

      As for chubby dolls, I loooooooooooooooooooove them so much. I want one so like freakstyle salome someday. They make me so happy as a chubby person myself. The dolls are so lovely to look at, that it makes me feel my body isn't as hideous as society wants me to believe.

I own a Freakstyle Eve, and she is so pretty, I just love that it's not just her torso that is chubby with skinny legs and arms as you sometimes see, every part of her is made to be a more Rubenesque woman, from her round fingers to her full thighs, to the little dimples above her(wonderfully enourmous XD)bum, little folds in the 'flesh' of her torso.. I love making clothes for my doll, but I have to admit she sits around naked more often than not XD I should make her a transparent dress..

I would totally have a chubby doll or a few of them, real people are varied so my characters are so my dolls should be, it'd look really cool, and they could go for a variety too from a little pudgy to super chubby, different genders and scales and ages woo! I also wasn't aware that Freakstyle did chubby dolls they're lovely, wow, they even have a nice tan skin option.

      I'm sure pregnant dolls would be a good option for other people who need it for their dolls and I think it'd allow some cute love stories and interesting horror stories to happen, but I wouldn't buy it and wouldn't be able to look at it, especially if the tummy was detailed and exposed, would make me so uncomfortable.
