Question about Migidoll Ryu...

..about the group order..
I joined a Dutch group order along with five others for Migidoll Ryu and we were allowed to do a pre-order! We have all paid for our heads and the order is already confirmed. So for those that want to do a group order, it's possible. Just ask Migidoll.

 

As Berubius I've ordered my Ryu head with the spring order and there were no difficulties at all.

 

Very true, I ordered then as well, I just followed the international order instructions, I wasn't even sure of the exact amount (currency exchange and shipping and all that) but she replied to my order post with an exact amount in USD and a paypal address. I don't remember off the top of my head but I want to say it was $137 and I had my head within a week or so.

I'd rather not wait the extra time for a group order. *edit* though if group orders are being shipped out ahead of time...* If the new head is half as gorgeous as Ryu is I'll gladly be ordering from her site again.

 

I posted on her Q&A board asking whether she'd be willing to do a United States group order for Ryu, or for Ryu and her new boy if anyone decides they want him as well after his pictures are posted.
I don't think she has been on the site for a few days.

i'd have to check my bank account, heh , but i would REALLY love to get in on a group order (especially if they can pre-order ).
this sounds silly, but will someone be mentioning it here once the heads go on sale? i know i can just check it for myself, but between college and work i don't have a lot of time... just curious...

Seeing I've already got a Ryu I'm quite interested in the new head (that's supposed to be released around the same time) if it's just as awesome as the Ryu

Therefore, if anyone here is from Australia and is thinking of purchasing a Ryu or whatever else from Migidoll please contact me by PM ^__^

I will be posting a question to Migidoll also whether she allows this for Australia. If she's cool with this I'll be organising the order and will be contacting those who are interested with further details. If she's not cool with this then..... I'll probably explode and think about another way.

Don't you guys think it might be fair to just wait and put in your orders with everyone else? It's limited to a tinme period, not a number of heads.

 

Trying to see other people's reasons, i could imagine some might be really busy during october? i know for those interested in applying to unversity in Victoria, some of the cut off dates are in september/during october. Other people might have events..they could be moving...e.t.c there are a lot of deciding factors than just purely wanting to get ahead of everyone.
I like that people are organising group orders. saves on shipping.that is *why* group orders are popular.
More doll meets.That is one of the aspects of this hobby, remember?
I find it rather " . . . " that you think because people are seemingly "putting orders in" (at the moment im seeing more group orders) that they have to wait because you are going to.
(Unless you are saying it's unfair and placing your order ahead of course.)

First of all, if Migi already took a Dutch pre-order, it might be easier for her to take pre-orders for the other group orders. It's really up to her - if she says she wants us to wait and do it on the specific day, we'll respect her wishes. It might just be that she doesn't want orders trickling in all month long, in which case a group pre-order takes care of that issue nicely.

Second, I think we already agreed that if heads were limited, trying to pre-order or group order isn't fair, but assuming they aren't limited, I think it's six of one and a half dozen of the other, so I don't see what the issue would be. Migi will probably ship out everyone's heads same time whether they preorder or not because if they aren't limited, I'd guess she would have them all made after the sale is wrapped up to make sure there are enough.

 

If the group order goes through, count me in! Though I'm fine just ordering from the site.

 

I'm definitely waiting until the official start time if this group order I've proposed goes through. There's no point paying ahead for me - I'd rather have that money sittin in the bank earning interest

I'm proposing a group order because it's an opportunity to cut cost for people living in the same region.

 

Yeah it's fair but... some people don't have time in October.

In two weeks i'm moving and i won't have chance to buy his head in October... so i decided to ask if i can order and pay before October.
And yeah... i did it. I'm waiting now too.

And question about body for normal skin Ryu. I read that senior delf bodies are perfect... Any others?
