Well, July's head is made to fit the new body, so it should be 11cm, or at least 10. It looks larger comparing it to Anna's neck hole but doesn't quite seem as big as 11cm??? Though I don't have her on a body yet.

 

Hallo Cherylsdolls and all. I have Kira head on DollShe 26F body. Kira (and Blina too as older heads) is smaller then newer heads are (have Su/Tsunaina too). I had modified DollShe neck for Kira. On modified body Su head doesn't fit (Su neck hole is bigger then Kira´s ). So for new heads supposed to fit to new Rainman body (Eva´s included I think) it will be better then for me put it on DollShe. For me neck - hole size difference was 1.5 cm. A lot of sending
I have very bad quality photo for Kira and Su heads size differece evidence :-) if someone is interested.
Circuit: Kira head is 19 cm, Su is 19,5 cm.

Ah, I do recall thinking that was a large neck measurement when I saw it on the site. Hmm, I was measuring with my sewing tape today. It seems like 9 or 9.5cm for the diameter. The front and back of the neck hole are extended a bit farther than the sides of the neck hole (depth-wise), so it depends on how far into the neck hole you rest the tape. But I tried re-measuring just now and it seems to about 9 or 9.5 cm.

 

O.k. so I keep going back and fourth on Rainman body or Dollshe26F for Eva. Does anybody actually have the new Rainman female body in hand yet? I feel like Eva's neck is just a bit short with Dollshe( 10cm) but when I look at the Rainman body on his site the neck(11 cm) looks just a tiny bit longer and it has shorter legs. The Dollshe is 65cm tall to Rainman 63 cm in height. Otherwise, the bodies measurements are pretty close to each other. Also, the wait for a Dollshe to show up is a consideration too. Last time I ordered a Dollshe, I waited 14 months. I'm interested if anyone has the wait time for a Rainman body? He has them up for sale currently, strung and unstrung. Also, thanks susana789 for the pictures of the heads.

 

@susana789 wow, they do look markedly different in size, but so did my July AND my Anna. Kira is a pretty small sculpt and that's why she ended up on my loongSoul 58cm bloom body. I need that body for skateboard posing . Turns out a I like Kira's face better for the character as well, so it all turned out pretty well

I'm going to need to give Kira some shoulder pads to even out her look

 

Gosh, why so quiet in here? I'm still waiting for my dark Blina. Has anyone had an order arrive?

Thanks Susana! That SeaHedgehog review was great, especially since I gave up on the Dollshe 26 and ended up ordering the Rainman body. This was after trying my Eva head on two Iplehouse bodies. The head fit on both of the Iple SID and HID female bodies. I was kind of tempted by how warrior strong and long necked the Eva head looked on the HID but decided to go with the Rainman body, feeling that I would then have a body for his future heads too and the resin will match Eva better. My Eva normal head has a pink tone to her resin. The Iple SID had a bit of a short neck look but not too bad with the Rainman head. I think the Eva head has a strong chin with a dent that lends itself to looking good on a longer neck but this may not be the case with other Rainman female heads.

 

Oh, Rainman body is at wish list for me so I would like to know any opinions and feelings. I would like this body for Tsunaina but my "concept" with her is small bust (she would be gipsy dancer one day I hope) and Rainman body is for really "hot chick".

 

The body is beautiful, but I would like to see that mobility thigh improved. Most bodies have a locking mechanism to hold the leg up. Thanks for posting the video, @susana789

Congratulations, did you get that cool Faceup? @Suwalo ? I'm still waiting for my dark Blina order which I ordered August 23. I'm worried it might take until next year . R&R apparently only has the one Faceup artist, so she must be getting backed up??? Blank heads shipped super fast though.

And Blina is another favorite sculpt of mine. The wait might be a while but I bet that faceup is going to be gorgeous! ❤️

Especially one you have no say over! I ordered a tan July and didn't want her to have the bright pink lips like on the white head as I think it will look absurd and I was stunned to discover it's $120 for a non-custom faceup. Would have ordered a blank one had I known =[

 

Actually, the heads are $120 and the faceups are $150. I really hope that it's worth it

 

Oh my, I ordered Kira (basic, at 2018) and Su (tan), both heads blank. Heads were shipped fast (I think during 7 days weekend included, I am Europe). Kira was without custom control (and payment) but poor Su was at custom control (difference was 30USD for tan). But I never realize that price for painted head is 150 USD higher. WOW. But IngieBee at INSTA promo pictures dark Blina is really stunning
