  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. It's not the author who should be notified; it's Paramount. And considering that they've licensed those characters to at least one doll company already, I imagine they'd be very interested.

    7. I don't think this is legal and I have had it with all the Twilight themed stuff. I don't have a problem with the book, but I really don't like the movie. That's probably why I am not too fond of these dolls.

    9. That's just loosely modeled on the actors though, they didn't sell them as a vampire love story. :/ Nor did they dress them like the characters.

    11. Ugh Twilight......I for one, am not going to hold back on how much I hate this series.

      You'd think that the doll companies would learn from each other's mistakes....

      I shouldn't be surprised if Raurencio was forced to discontinue these dolls, and I would think it would be fairly deserved. <<--- THis is me, being "Nice"

      As for Vampire Hunter D (or whatever Soom called him) - I'm so wishing I could get that doll! One of my fav animes

      I'm a cosplayer & my dolls cosplay. I really have no problems w/dolls resembling characters. The whole 'gasp it must be original' leaves me cold. I want 3d representations of my fav characters (wearing costumes I make BTW) - & quality ones.

      Now I must know - does E's resin sparkle gold in the sun? ROFLMAO
      & yes, they got Bella's non-expression perfectly...

    15. Ooohh Hyperon.... I love those photos, The doll "cosplaying" D is is a strange case in this "Torches and pitchforks mob" mentality as it did not inspire wrath from the BJD hobby masses as it did the others. (As perviously stated by other members posted above.)

      I wounder why this is so?

      There is a debate thread somewhere in the forum that addresses this question.

    16. Yes, the SOOM case should show that all Nobility has to do to avoid the same pitfall as the other companies, is rename the dolls! Haha! Sorry, but I still wouldn't buy them.

      Pity, though. I like some of the other dolls. I hope they continue more along that vein. I certainly encourage branching out. Maybe copying other companies bodies, styles, or fantasy theme, oh wait *hint sarcasm*!

      But seriously, Raucencio, branch out in different styles, but don't cash in the Twilight "craze." It's not really as popular with the doll crowd...

    18. Darn, "exceeding daily traffic limit," it figures!

      I have no interest in the dolls, the films or books they were inspired on or likenesses to any
      popular media-form but I was interested in seeing RS new male bodies (in the nude).
      From the previews it seemed like they are very muscular but by the sheer size
      of the male-heads in those promos, I'm guessing I'm not going to like the proportions. XP

      I love Twilight saga books, also like the films, in fact i own several Twilight character dolls; but this... i'm speechless... They look absolutely lifeless, i hope it's not to rude to say, that they look like some cheap remakes for me. > >
