1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Raurencio Studio - 60cm Lady Discussion

May 31, 2010

    1. Have you asked them about Stella? I want a Ray and I asked months ago and they said she wold be back with the new body.

    2. Hello,

I’m Racius, a doll prototype maker of Raurencio Studio.
Thank you for your interest in my doll.
I thought I should answer to some questions, and I leave a note.

First, the size of the girl body being sold at Crobidoll is 60cm, the same as the former one.
It has the same size as Stella.
In the new girls, I changed joint positions to make the body line look more beautiful and made two types of bosoms.

I also modified their joints to enhance the degree of freedom of the elbow joints.
So the size of doll remains unchanged.
The reason why there is difference between us and Crobidoll is that the size of heads is various and it can be different according to the way of measurement.
And I think it was corrected to 60cm on Crobidoll site.

      I apologize for your confusion.

I’m planning to release Stella with the new body and another girl head.

Also Raurencio Studio will continue to make our own special dolls and hope to get a lot of support from you.

Thanks to you, I always feel encouraged when I work. Please give us lots of love.

    3. Thanks for clearing up the confusion about the height. May I ask, tho, if all the girls will be sold thru Crobidoll ? It's hard to understand why your site would sell only the boys.

    4. Seems that the company replied finally to my enquire, and planning to sells back the girls on their web site, not sure when, they planning to adjust the height of the body to 63Cm, wondering is this size is with hight heeled feet or flat feet....*_*
no mention was done about the resins colors avaible...:|

    5. Hello Everyone! (NEKID PIC WARNING BELOW!!!)

Raurencio Studio messaged me in regards to some of your questions and thought to post them here to
      clarify things abit.

Stella's height with heeled feet is the 62cm mentioned by RS. Crobi offers both heeled and non-heeled feet. The non-heeled feet make the new girls 60cm. RS has Crobi marketing the new dolls due to Crobi being a bigger company with the capabilities and resources of creating these girls quicker plus they are well know company loved by the doll community. RS plans on releasing other female dolls through their site sometime in the near future with the new body. The body itself has minor modifications in comparison to the older one, such as more feminine hands, choice of bust size.

Here is a picture of my Stella in the nude:

Here a few more angles of her legs:

Any other questions or concerns that I may forward to RS? Or if you need more pics, Stella's
box opening thread is as follows: http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?412032-Raurencio-Studio-s-Stella-Welcome-Home!

    6. Thanks Pacific Blue for the piccies,i honestly do not still undestand the choice of RS in making shorter girls/ladies and making the converse very taller boy/men ( their actual men line is 67cm taller vs the lady line that offers girls of 62cm taller, i think it's time for equal height) plus i simply do not get the choices of the company in making only one skin tone..i hope to see in furture RS lady line and save for then my opinion.
There are by the way several companies that offer girls of 62cm taller, with a big variety of skin tone,so honestly seems difficult, basing on my opinion, for RS company to enlarge their range of buyers/clients if so stubbornly their insist in such choices....

    7. They did tell me they are considering other skin tones. There is a long unlocked message from the sculptor about the new body. I have found that measurements on company sites are not always completely accurate. An two people taking the "same" measurements can come up with different results.

    8. The original RS tone was the same yellow-normal as Unidoll (I have an early Remiel), but now the male tone is a pink-normal, as I found out when ordering RS hands with their more relaxed finger positions as a possible replacement for the UD-r clenching hands. (I can't say that the new skin tone isn't an improvement. The UD-r tone --I've had 3 bodies to observe-- either became very yellow, or actually turned greenish yellow. Hopefully the pink-normal will be fairly stable or only turn peachy at the most.)

But the RS site says the girls come in "creamy white". So technically, they are offering two different skin tones, just no options to choose which one.

PacificBlue - the RS site says the girls are "62cm (including head)". There's no mention of that being the height with HEEL feet (why would they measure that way anyway?). And, as you yourself found out with your Stella (lovely girl, btw!), AND it says so on every girl's page at RS, they came with flat feet, and additional heel feet. So Crobidoll isn't doing anything really extra (except getting the height wrong!).

Is Crobidoll really "loved"? I've never dealt with them, and have never even seen one of their dolls at a meet. Well, I hope they do right by Raurencio anyway!

    9. I certainly don't love the faceup on Lapis!

    10. Nacy as far as i know Crobidoll have a great comunication, and everyone that dealed with them even for accessories orders, haven't had any issue and was pleased with them.

    11. That may be, but there are lots of things I would like to buy and I am not going to consider a full set when I don't like the face-up and the outfit and wig are not my taste either.

    12. Hi hobbywhelmed!

Thanks for the kind comment on my girl! It seems like Crobi is causing confusion on their site for listing incorrect info. It was the sculptor who personally wrote to me saying that they were measuring with heeled feet and Crobi flat feet.

Crobi is very popular indeed! I have ordered some wigs and eyes from them. I would have some of their dolls as well, but they don't offer layaway which I really need for this hobby. ^^ Their limited editions sell out quite quickly and go for a good amount on the second hand market. I hope that they get the publicity that RS is hoping by having them market the dolls.

    13. I'm glad Stella is coming back. Once again I hope they produce a head that is compatiable with a male body. In resin and size match. It will be difficult, but I really want a Stella hybrid. And a variety of skin tone matches certainly would be nice.

Though, Marco in a lot of ways reminds me of a male Stella (a bit)....

    14. Hello
To celebrate the release of a new lady body, we relaunch Stella and
Ray with the new body in limited quantities.

      Please give us your interest.

And a new girl doll will be released in December, please look
      forward to it!

    15. Thank you for the information, racius! I hope you don't mind if I ask this question, looking ahead to December - will Raurencio Studio be having any kind of winter event or sale? That would be another great way to promote the new releases as well as the old lineup.

    16. I was out of town for a few days and was so happy to see Ray and Stella available again when I got home!

    17. Ack, Stella and Ray in limited quantities? Does that mean after they've run out we won't be able to buy them? (I just bought another doll I want, then decided to see if Stella was available as I hadn't checked for a few months). I wish you could buy the head by itself.

Does anyone know if Raurencio Studio offer a layaway option?

    18. Hi Shae ^^ Yes, Raurencio does offer a layaway option. Just request it when ordering on their Q&A Board.

    19. I must say, I really haven't been impressed with any of the new ladies Raurencio has created: Rubin, Lapis, and the newest, Rebecca. I'm merely 'meh' about their sculpts, although I think Rebecca's dress rocks. I wish that was being offered separately. I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.

I am glad to see that they're offering Stella and Ray again, even if it's for a limited amount of time.
