1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Re-using clothes and objects from other things for your BJD

Feb 12, 2006

    1. I went shopping yesterday and found some very cute clothes for my MSD. The brand is called BFC Ink. I did have to re-Velcro the skirt to make it smaller, but it is a frilly skirt so it doesn't show, and shorten the straps of the tank-top. But the sweater fits wonderfully and the alterations took less than ten minutes and the outfit is super cute. ^^

    2. Does anyone know what size of dolls these fit? I really like some of them. Elfdoll Hana, seems like the right size.

    3. BFC Ink, 18" dolls clothing is sold seperately at walmart and toys r us.
The outfits actually fit my DM MSD nicely (The vest is a touch big and needed a slight taking in but everything fits!).

    4. Vogue mini Ginny clothes fit PukiFee. (Be sure to get the mini size, not the regular Ginny.)

    5. I had a random doll my great-grandma gave me. It was just some random plastic doll that had a southern belle kind of look. But I decided to try her dress on my MSD doll even though it was way short. Turned out the dress fit great as a empire waist dress. I really didnt expect it, but it ended up being really cute!

Also, a few of the Kelly clothes fir on my Bobobie tiny. But only things like the jackets or the really stretchy kind.

    6. Not sure what dolls fit them exactly but I know they are too small for LittleFées (the shirts need some modding as they are a touch too small). I don't know how Hana compares to LTFs..

    7. She looks so cute!! I'll have to go to walmart soon and check that out. Thanks!

    8. I believe the Jolee Scrapbook Mini T-Shirts fit 1/6 Mature Dolls. Like, Souldoll Littles and Soom Mini Gems. I thought, I saw someone's Kimmy wearing a "I can fix all but broken hearts" shirt. It looked a little baggy. But it fit.

    9. What fits a Resinsoul Mei?

    10. Any new finds for bobobie 14cm tinies?

    11. I know that Bratz shirts fit 16cm sizes, and I've heard Teen Trends fit Slim MSD's like MNF's.

    12. Dose anyone have any news on what will fit 5stardoll 1/6 dolls beside yo-sd clothes.

    13. My 25cm tiny is currently wearing some slightly-modded Moxie Teen clothes. They were all a tad big, but fit her decently ^-^
*pokes at poor naked fashion doll on my desk*

    14. I found great bunny slippers in the american girl type 18" doll clothes section of my local craft store. Mostly those shoes are made for chubbier feet, but the fabric ones like the bunny slippers fit Volks SDs wonderfully.

    15. Aah, there are dolls called "BFC Ink" dolls and their clothes will fit an MSD. They're actually a bit big on MSDs, but easily modified to fit.
Also, you can make a human skirt into a doll dress. There was once a video for it on youtube but I can't find it now, so basically you just fit the human skirt to the doll, cut off the excess, and sew up the back. Things like ruffly black skirts make really awesome looking doll dresses... And the bigger the skirt, the better.

    16. My 7o+cm DragonDoll fits American Girl shirts and coats. A bit funky, but it's fun. And he's wearing white baby shoes right now, size 1. It's fun to find stuff that just fits.

    17. The BFC Ink Doll clothes actually fit my DOT Shall pretty well. I have shirts/dresses that fit, even the shoes! XD I guess since she's so skinny, it works. :) Also, some of the TY Plush dolls clothes fit Minifees/Yos. I bought a outfit set for my Minifee and boy TY plush (stole his clothes) and took his NY shirt and it fits my Shushu perfectly! My girlfriend's YoSD boy took the pants, which also fit him! XD

    18. I'm curious about this too. I'm getting a 1/6 5SD soon and was wondering if anyone knew of other clothes I could buy that would fit her.

    19. Anyone know if Living Dead Dolls or Little Apple Dolls clothes will fit any bjds?

    20. OK, mucho thanks to the person who mentioned that zapf mini baby world clothes fit our bobobie tinies - it's like they were made for them! : D
