It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Re-using clothes and objects from other things for your BJD

Feb 12, 2006

    1. I just found this weird shirt-kind of thingy )It would be waaay too big for Ken), so I realized that it most likely would fit an MSD!

      The tag on the shirt said it was from Zany Brainy. But I really don't know what toy originally wore the shirt, because...the toy was missing. ^^;

I'm hoping some undies I found would fit an MSD as well. It's around the same size as my MSD shorts, so they might. But until I get Hodoo, I won't really know.

Also, toe rings might make good BJD bracelets! That is, if you stretch them open an eensy weensy bit... the ring, I mean...

    2. anyone know Myscene dolls? well the guys clothes fit Minifee's!

    3. Some sleeveless dresses for SDG will fit over MSD pants and make a cute outfit.

Your taller girls might not enjoy the med sized dolls taking over their outfits. :sweat

    4. I find that little apple girl clothes fit my B&G Triya almost perfectly, if being a little too short. You'd want to use clothes from dolls with longer clothes like Sine or Umbrae, though. The stockings won' fit, sadly. I already tried :/.

    5. I found the most darling little shirt at Petsmart! It was, of course, for a dog, I'm guessing a tiny size like a Chihuahua or something of the sort. I had to buy it, and it actually fit my boy perfectly. It's baggy, but that's what makes it so incredibly darling.

    6. I think the vintage Ginny clothes fit Baha perfectly. Will have to verify that shortly.

      Hugs

    7. I just remembered. Porcelain doll outfits can fit our dolls too. I found a doll with a darling sailor suit and now my doll has it along with a blond pigtail wig:o I even stole her eyes for art dolls:|
Even some of the shorter porcelain dolls can have their clothes stolen - they can make cute miniskirt outfits!

    8. Costco carried a rooted hello kitty fashion doll. I'm not sure of the actual name of the toy, it came with a ballet set, casual set, swim suit, leopard jacket. That all fit my Twingkey perfectly, even the shoes.

    9. MyTwinn clothes are way too big. MyTwinns are 23" and their clothing is too large even for AGs so if you could ater them, you could use them, but otherwise they won't work.

    10. On a fluke, I went by Michaels and got a couple of sweaters they had in the bear section. They fit great and look pretty on Sabine (Choa). I don't think the more fitted things would work, but for $4.99 the sweaters are wonderful.

Also, Ellowyne clothes (from WIlde Imagination) fit MSDs for the most part. ANything really fitted like the bodysuits won't, but skirts and shirts do. I've tried some of the pants and they won't button in the waist, but they fit otherwise.

    11. Only Hearts Club clothes fit Elfdoll Hana - you can get them at Target. The shoes fit too, sometimes.

Some Bratz clothes fit Hana too.

    12. here are some for tiny's (my honey delf is the model)
first I found a Barbie Fashion Fever out fit that's a little snug but and I had to trim the selves on the shirt to fit her hand threw.

and I have a TY Girlz outfit the Grey shirt is a little tight at the waist but the skirt and jacket fit great.

    13. Barbie clothes are awesome :)

    14. Im not really sure of this yet, but webkinz clothes just may fit on a MSD. I have yet to go to cardsmart but they have a santa suit that may fit my Twingkey :D
      Edit: Got it! :)
Santa Hat: Yep fit great :)
Santa Jacket: Huge, but it works
Pants: Lol these things were made for the dogs or cats cause the pants are wierd, but im sure a quick hem would work.

    15. This is a great thread.

I bought a Magic Attic rafting outfit last year hoping the life jacket would be adjustable enough for my slim mini. No luck.

Last night after reading this thread I remembered that outfit. Everything fits my 60 cm girl. I just got her recently.

The outfit has a short sleeved windbreaker, Lycra shorts like bicycling shorts, a neat life jacket and a pair of sandals.

i am going to try buying a few other Magic Attic outfits. They come with a lot of accessories.

    16. I've just discovered that the clothing (a hooded shirt with the body of a skeleton on it) from my grim reaper beanie baby, I think the name is Creepers, works perfectly as a shirt for a 60-70 cm boy. I've got it on my Ark and, except for the hood, it fits him like it was made for a doll his size to wear.

    17. I agree with Lesrees this thread is amazing! I just bought a doll and she desperately needs clothing so this helps a lot.

    18. I was looking at some of the clothes yesterday, and I think they might fit too. But they didn't have a price on them and I didn't have the money to shell out in order to try it out at that moment. The bottoms don't likely fit at all, since they're fitted for dog/cat bodies. But I'm willing to bet the tops fit some MSDs. From what I could tell, I think the girls tops might fit a bit better, and the hats also looked like they'd fit. Someone let us know if they do!

    19. I am not sure if anyone has posted about baby sized socks yet. Yesterday I bought my boy some 0-6month socks and they fit perfectly! He has DOT feet. I think some of the slippers for babies would fit and the jackets too.
