1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. Cirquemom from over at Junkyspot forums let us know that a Walmart gift card holder fits great on MSD girls...and I found out that it's also pretty cute on tinies as well:

    3. Perfect recycling, do it all the time, especially with broken dolls

    4. Ok, I have to confess... Two porcelain dolls has been killed by me in order to give the resin family some transplants. I plead guilty but insane.

      • x 1
    5. Wow... this seems interesting XD

      I did not, since I do not have any dolls... so no need to scavenger for them... but It would be great to recycle stuff like that XD

      But the doll must be the good size O___o

    6. I stole clothes from a Dora the Explorer doll because the outfit was adorable ;_;

    7. I did it sort-of the other way around...

      I have a very old china doll named Blue (And she is. Her porcelain is tinted sky blue... Apparently someone in the 30's thought that the world needed blue ladies :lol:), whose original wig finally just gave up the ghost and began completely falling apart. So, reluctantly, I pulled it off and cleaned the glue and wondered where the heck I was going to get new hair for a nearly-80-year-old, oddly-sized doll.

      'Turns out that even though she's hardly taller than a MiniFee, Blue's head is pretty much exactly the same size as my CP/Delfs. She's now wearing an 8-9 wig from Monique that originally belonged to the Alabaster Prince. It's cute on her. :)

    8. You mean you're not supposed to do that? LOL! The first thing I do with a new type of doll is see what I can steal from other dolls. I was buying a lot of designer Barbies for a while just to get their clothes for my mature tinies. I gave the nekkid dolls to my neighbor's little girl. And I've done the cheapo porcelain doll thing as well but generally I just use the clothing as the wigs are too stiff & in "southern belle" type styles. I'm very picky about eyes too so those don't get used either. Even though I've replaced most of clothes now, it's a good way to get some starter outfits on the cheap.

    9. We should make a list of brands of porcelain dolls whose outfits would match o.O

    10. I think some porcelaine dolls are lovely... but I do usually see them as parts for my bjd's, hehe
      I bought one for her dress which is now a jacket for one of the gents.
      And I rescently searched porcelaine dolls on ebay with bjd clothing and parts in mind.

    11. I second that, it would be great :D

      I would tottally try to scavenger them then XD

    12. I did that yesterday in a thrift shop to a small wall of porcelain dolls- and I don't even have a BJD yet. T__T;

    13. What kind of clothes fit bobobie Apollo 60cm? I haven't been able to find any replies that say what fits him XP

    14. I dont know if anyone mentioned it already. But some of the clothes you can buy for Webkins look like they may fit some dolls. I haven't tried it myself, but I've noticed that some of the sizes are similar to MSD and SD sized dolls.

    15. Oh, I got this dress from Michaels once and it was originally supposed to be for smaller dolls:

      (pretty large picture >_<)

      but instead of fitting to the ankles it fits to the knee, which doesn't look too bad :)

    16. They are too big for MSDs (mainly in the waist), but they do fit SDs great. Here is a picture of my Sabine wearing the Webkinz elf shirt

    17. not sure if anyone has mentioned this already, but has anyone ever seen those little football kits people have? they're usually on plastic hangers so people can stick them to the windows of their cars? i see them all over the place, and i reckon they're probably the right size for MSDs. it would be cute to see an MSD football team :lol:

    18. The Robert Tonner American Model clothes kind of fit SD sized girls - I say "kind of" because you can't really snap them all the way in the back, but they still look nice. Also, I snitched some clothes a long time ago from the big Jan McClean Lollipop girls for my Luts Delf girls. The skirts are pretty snug (and short!), but the tops fit really well, and are super-cute!

    19. Great find for me-

      Disney makes these little disney princess doll kits. Comes with a boy dressed like a prince and a girl dressed like a princess. The clothes fit Pocket fairies.

    20. Baby Bratz and Kelly clothes (and any knock offs or clothes for that size doll, really) fit Orientdoll So tinies perfectly.
      Barbie (and knock offs of the size) clothes will sometimes fit my Cherishdoll Chubby and my Custom House Little Junior perfectly (not so much my larger KDF). I've also heard Teen Trends fit CH little Juniors wonderfully.
      As already stated, some of the shirt car hangers will work great on SD dolls.
      I've also found several different sized bear clothes to fit differently on my tinies and MSD (although most are wide, I did get a find that hasn't repeated itself yet).

      [IMG]
      That's my Chubby in bear clothes. XD

      [IMG]
      And my tiny in bear clothes (it was bears that came as accessory to kids hairclips)

      And then of course shoe keychains usually fit MSDs wonderfully. I even found fluffy animal slippers (for SD!) and flipflops (MSD) keychains!
