Real Life Look Alike?

Do you look like any particular sculpt? What is it?
I wouldn't have a clue if I looked like any particular sculpt. Someone would have to tell me about it first.

Do you know someone else that looks like a particular sculpt?
Yes! One of my best friends looks like an Iplehouse Shane, my fiance has a Ringdoll body (thin and gangly), and I know a lady who looks like a Soom Dia.

Would/Do you own a sculpt that looks like someone you know?
Maybe. I don't know. At the moment I'm just shelling OCs.

I look like Ha-Yarn Cho of Dollmore, my current doll.

Yes - my spouse. Looks like Killian of Souldoll. Except my spouse has a small soulpatch and black hair. (I guess it would depend on the wig)

Yes I would/ but no I do not, except my own doll who looks like me.

Not to my knowledge/opinion. I've had a few people tell me that Nadeko (VOLKS F-01) and I look the same but I don't agree at all.

A few people but none that I know personally, just random people I see on the street and think "the person looks like a *insert doll here* "

I don't currently but if I liked the doll enough (and of course the person) then I wouldn't be against owning one.

​I would not say it’s perfect but Iplehouse WS Ashanti pretty much resembles me.

Yes! Simply Divine’s Thomas is the doppelganger of my brother. Not joking: the first time I showed it to our mom she automatically though that is an actual photo of her child. Thereafter she praised me how nicely I ’photoshopped his eye color’. Her face was priceless when I told her it’s a doll.

Would/Do you own a sculpt that looks like someone you know?
From time to time I considering to buy a Thomas head for the reasons mentioned above. It would be fun to own a ’minimee’ bro: this doll could make him so nervous when we get older.

 

There's no doll that looks like me, but Soom Lazule looks a lot like a friend of mine. I do own the doll, and they do look similar, but the doll is not meant to be exactly like my friend, they just share some similarities.

 

I probably look like a grown-up version of my Pukifee Cony - I have the same high forehead and rounded face.

I have a friend online who adores Antes - she has a Littlefee and PukiPuki. She kind of looks like an Ante, too.

 

My first and still favorite doll is an Elfdoll Mir. I was at work one day and this handsome young Asian man walked in, he was a dead ringer for my doll.

I had to be a professional and deal with him calmly and politely, instead of falling off my chair laughing maniacly , or doing a fan girl squee, " OOOH, you look JUST LIKE my FAVORITE DOLL!!!!!"

 

I bought an Iplehouse Leona in June, gave her a faceup, bought her a Monique gold Paris wig in light brown with blonde highlights, and spent a few days trying clothes on her and photographing her, and staring at her wondering why she looked so oddly familiar, but it wasn't until I put in some very realistic pale green silicone Eyecos that I realized she looked exactly like my 17 year old niece.
