Just FYI, Luts hands do fit on a CH body . . . Kitsuko has CP BW Soony-S head and hands on a CH body. The resin isn't a *perfect* match, but it's very close, and if I had access to an airbrush, I could probably 'blush' the hands very slightly with a more ivory/golden tone . . . honestly, though, it's practically undetectable unless I'm looking closely.

I also preferred the Luts hand sculpt, so I was glad that the switch-out was so easy, with no modifications required!!

The new Choa is lovely (oh, dear, this is reigniting my Choa-lust!!), but I actually prefer the petite, small-busted original CH body in part because it *is* so different from my tall and Amazonian Lishe and Soony!! I love Kitsuko's sweet little cupcake breasts ^-^

Hmmm . . . I wonder if this means that some people may sell their original-CH bodies to get the larger-bust version?? *starts stalking Marketplace*

My Choa has really yellowed a bit too, but my white skin CP is way lighter, and my normal skin ones are quite a bit darker. Mali's just stuck in the middle with her skin tone.

 

I think that part of it is that I have a newer CP BW girl, and she definitely has a much yellower undertone than Jola's CP BW boy, Victor, who was cast earlier this year . . . and I *just* ordered a CP BW boy body for Aubrey, and it's the same tone (which is good, it matches his head better than Victor's body did!), so if you didn't mind spending $18, it might be worth it to split a CP order with someone to see if a new pair of BW hands would match Mali's body . . . `plus, like I said, it wouldn't be that hard to blush the backs of the hands and between the fingers with yellow-ivory (you could even do it with chalk pastels and MSC it) to make the match even better.

Mostly just wanted to let you know that the sockets and stringing are a perfect match, the resin color (as always with BJDs) is a little harder to predict :>

Is it just me, or does it look like the new CH girls have a more pinky-white undertone than their older dolls?

I hope not >_< I LOVE the yellowish tone to the CH resin.... Too much pink in the CP for my tastes XD

 

I reckon I could probably slip a pair of white hands into the order when I buy my Juri a body, and if they don't work, just give them to Tamae. *beam*

Ya know - the picture DOES look pinker, especially the second - but if you look at the old Choa pics, the skintone seemed pinker than in real life. So it is hard to say.

What I DO like about the new bodies (Besides those hands), is the lack of glued together leg pieces. It is a much more sleek look. The boobies are still mounds though - just bigger mounds, hehe.

No, you haven't missed them. They're still in the "Coming Soon" section. I'm sure there will be many members posting the "OMG! _____ is Released!" messages (myself included :fangirl ) I kind of hope it's a little ways away, as I'm still broke from the girl I just bought! Squee!! But I feel like I've been waiting for Choa forever, I want her so bad.
