    1. He's a very good choice for a first doll. He's even more fab in person and the resin has a nice feel to it. They do have a tendency to be loosely strung though but that's easy to fix. Oh and cute feeties too! :aheartbea

      I have the Long body with Feng head. It is a very nice body, Though I wish the hips were just a tad wider, or offered more of a masculine way of sitting.

      I hope that resinsoul will come out with 70cm male hands, with loop and S-hook, as the current ones are OK, but do not have the mobility of most other doll hands/wrists. Otherwise I will have to see if the new jointed hands from either DollZone or DikaDoll will match his resin.

    3. I have this body and I really have a question about it. How do you guys keep your bodies strung? When I got mine he was loose because he was folded while shipping, but my efforts to tighten his strings didn't do much. I was wondering if you did anything special to keep your boys from flopping, like do you use two strings for the legs or just keep them really, really tight?

    4. I had to completely restring mine with better elastic. The stuff that comes with them isn't all that great. I also hot glue sueded his joints to help him hold positions better.

      Oh! And I was wondering if anyone saw these:

      I was wondering if one of them would match the resin color. They look amazing!

    5. Ah, well maybe Sebastian won't be quite so floppy if I just get him some new elastic then. He was second hand, so he's already sueded, but it just seems like no matter what I did in the way of tightening that he just loosened up again in a couple days. o_o I thought maybe they need extra thick elastic or something. :sweat

      Tie the elastic together for the arms inside the torso. If you place that knot at the neck, your mobility of the head will be compromised.

      Getting S hooks is a good idea, however, they way RS and BBB hands are made (Before the new hands with hoop and S hooks that are made recently) tie a strong but thick string (I have a cotton twine) in a loop at the hands, then hook the S Hook through that, and then through the loop in the thick elastic. This will allow better mobility of the hands.

      Resin Soul needs to make new hands for the 70cm boy, and the smaller dolls. The mobility of the 'new' hands are much better.

    7. :aheartbea Hee, all right, I'll have to get him some new elastics. Has anyone tried separately stringing the legs instead of running the same elastic through them both? At a meetup one time someone recommended that for my Mei as a way to improve her a bit, but you think it would do anything for a big boy like this, or is it just too much of an extra hassle?

    8. Well, in order to keep the amount of actual elastic in the neck to a minimum (it can get pretty tight in there, and will reduce mobility), it'd probably be best to keep it to one long string, tied at the neck S hook, the 'bottom' of the loop also through it, so you have two 'rabbit ears', then loop each 'ear' through to the ankles. This is easiest if you have S hooks in the feet, or a thinner (but very strong) string loped through the ankle, and then attached with S hook to the elastic loop.

    10. i may be getting a euclase/resinsoul hybrid... any advice or comments i should be aware of? :) from the review someone posted on here, it seems like a pretty nice body. i'll probably have to invest in some stringing in the near future which is totally fine... but i was just curious to see what people had to say.

    13. That's not true. Lilac and grey are two different colours of resin that they make, as evidenced in this image: http://www.resinsoul.com/05-chanpin/p-001-1.asp?id=381
      The grey sample is the one next to the red, while the lilac is the sample next to the light tan.
      Kittywolf, they may not have updated their website to include grey as an option in the drop down box, but I'm sure they will make the body in grey if you request it specifically.

    15. I'm curious as to what resins and skin tones Bobobie matches enough for other kinds of hybrids.

      I love this body's look in the pics and am currently saving up for it (I have a Lian who I'd prefer to be male). I was just wondering if it woud match other stuff.

      All in all I have three Bobobies and love each of them more than I ever thought possible. How are the thigh and extra arm joints? Useful?

    16. Thanks! I discovered if you order derict from reainsoul then grey is an option. For some reason bobobie doesn't have it listed though i'm sure you can ask for it since there very good about that. My body will be in today or tomorrow. I'm stoked and can't wait.

    18. i just got the body (with Euclase head) in today. and i have to admit its a very lovely body. im sure once i tweak the stringing and get him tighter he'll be a champ at posing and everything. :D

    19. Are the bigger 60-70 Resin Soul bodies thinner than normal like the MSD bodies are? I'm thinking about getting either a Resinsoul or a Bobobie body for my new boy, and while I like how RS looks, I don't want it if it's not going to fit into standard clothes like my MSD RS Ju does.

    20. my resinsoul 70cm fit into a pair of 70cm pants i had lieing about so im assuming its not the same problem as the RS/BBB mini's have were everythings huge. i think shirts might be a little loose though. i havent really tried though cause he has a euclase medatition head and i dont feel like removing his head to put a shirt on. XD
