Resinsoul 70cm Long discussion

The long body can fit into 60CM trousers made for elfdoll type waist. However, the legs are too long to make 60cm trousers work.

Long can still fit into t-shirts and other shirts that my 60cm Apollo fit into, though they, too, are a little tight and aren't quite long enough, but serviceable.

 

My Resinsoul order arrives soon for my store, I can compare the colours with ALL Fantasy Doll resin & a few others I have here ^__^

Resinsoul have only just released their 60cm boy body for the first time just a few weeks ago. I have one arriving soon in this shop order so I can compare it against some other SD bodies for you if you like.

 

I have my Long in Dollmore Model women pants are they are a great fit.

 

I know this thread is kind of old and dead, but I was wondering if anyone has posted anything about how the BBB 70cm body is strung? -- Not "how well is it strung?", but literally "how does the string travel through the body?"

I am thinking to get a Feng, and if I do, I'll be unstringing him to dye him. I just want to be sure I'll be able to get him put back together!

 

The elastic starts in the head goes down one leg, back to the head, then down the other leg, and then back to the head.

The arms go from the head down one arm, to the other, and then back to the head.

 

Jainatina, thank you SO MUCH. So they seem to be strung basically like the BBB tinies then? Do you think it would be possible to knot the arm elastic in the torso like can be done with the tinies, or would that work poorly with the larger body, in your opinion?

Yes, they are strung a lot like the tinies. Yes, it would be possible to knot the elastic there. I find it difficult to do since they do not have hooks in their hands but if you really want it strung that way it can be done.

Ugh, I remember from a couple of the tinies what a pain stringing the hands and feet are with Bobobie. >.<

Yes. It is unfortunate that they have not adapted to a better method of attaching the hands and feet. Oh well. They're still fun dolls.

 

Long doesn't have hooks in his hands and feet? Is that true for the current Longs? Resinsoul has been using S-hooks on its other dolls for a while now; I just assumed Long would have them. . . .

 

From what I've seen, current Longs have S hooks.
I bought mine about a year ago, and he does not have them. So they are recent. I'd double check with your retailer or BBB/RS to be sure.

 

I just recently go a Long from Resinsoul, and he has s-hooks in both his hands and feet.

I really am in love with my Long - his sculpt is so gorgeous and once his strings were tightened and I gave him some hot-glue sueding, he stands like a rock! I was also really impressed with the wuality of the resin - it's super smoothe, and even though I got my Long in grey resin, there were no sanding lines in sight.

Could someone post a picture of the hands and feet with hooks? Do they look the same as the ones without hooks? I wonder how hard it would be to get new hands and feet. Is that the only thing they changed?

 

My Long does not have s-hooks and I have ordered some as he is a floppy pain in the butt...He needs a re-string, sueding and so on.

I love his sculpt although it took me a while to like, the first time I saw him I thought he was too big.

I have him in WS and he will be my vampire boy, which I have wanted for ages. I love seeing all the other people here with sooo many ideas for Long. Although mine is now called Valentin.

Just bumping this up to ask if anyone could supply me with the sizes for Long, as in, waist size, hip size, leg lenght from the waist ... all that stuff I will need to make him clothes XD;
I'm hoping to be able to make an outfit for my Long before he arrives ~~

Can anybody who has one of these boys get a crotch measurement for pants-making purposes? My boy should be here from JS on Friday, and I don't want him to be pantsless.

 

What's the arm and neck width?
For the sake of trying to make him a shirt as well XD;
I saw the messurements in RS website but it doesn't seem to have it all D:

Btw, just to make sure, Eye size is 16mm-18mm and Wig size is 8-9?
