Yeah! I'm actually thinking of getting two bodies for my ever-floating boy heads - they deserve better lol. The thing is that there are too few mature and at the same time not overly muscular MSD bodies on the market. I need a nice masculine sturdy thing with wide shoulders, you know, but not a pile of muscles And Cen's body is an encapsulation of what I want to see in my two male characters.

 

Honestly that's one of the reasons I haven't gotten into 1/4 scale much. The bodies tend to either look very childlike or very muscular. a 1/4 Cen body would fill that gap nicely! Now if only there were some more muscular 1/4 girl bodies too...

 

Ooh, ooh! I hope they will sell the hands separately! I LOVE the hands.

 

Was there any sort of timetable mentioned for when the new body would be coming? I'm very curious to see how long it comes out, and if they might do a normal version and one with fun fantasy parts.

 

Just email them no, I wasn't given any time frame. But I'm sure if they see that many people are interested, they'll be more motivated to produce it sooner rather than later

 

I'm eying a grey boy body for one of my floating heads. Is the current grey still as yellow undertoned as the old can be?

But ooo new boy body sounds exciting. I love more options.

 

Dear resinsoul owners who opted for factory body blushing. How's the quality? Does it stick well or peels easily?
I'd like to ask them for blushing to create a gradient between translucent limbs and opaque body colour. Has anyone had an experience with that?

 

I have received a colormatched Shi body from ResinSoul and the results were pretty good considering I only sent them photos. Totally worth the 30$ extra.
It's also behaving decently well right out of the box. I didn't have to suede it to get it to stand securely. Didn't kick me yet either. I'll still suede but I think it can wait until the week-end. I'm really happy with the body.

 

Just noticed that there's two new dolls over at Resinsoul, a 1/4 sized deer girl Ruoxi and 15 cm high Elf eared little Cui. Ruoxi looks so pretty I hope lots of people buy her so I get to see tons more pictures of later

 

I agree, Ruoxi is super cute! I wish they posted photos of blank face & body. I wonder if this body would have double knee and hip joints.

 

Oohh Ruoxi is so cute!! I can't wait to see owner pics of her too. Though i'll second wishing they shared pics of the blank sculpt.

 

I emailed Sun asking for pictures of the blank sculpt, will share here when I hear back from RS.

More deer people! Awesome! While I don't have any characters in mind for Ruoxi/Shan, just seeing them is exciting. It's nice to see RS expanding their options, and the rainbow look on Shan is really pretty. I look forward to seeing what people do with customizing these two.

 

see i'm torn because the immature bust body is nice and androgynous but do I wait to see if they sneakily release some boys with the decent elbow joints too?

I assume that body will fit the regular legs of the xun/shi dolls. It's probably the same torso right?
But I can't find any nude images of Xun right now.

I wonder if the gradient antlers are airbrushing or cast that way.

Did you send a photo of the head you were trying to match or a colour sample? I have a grey head here i'm trying to match and it's doing my head in. lol.

 

The new girls look so pretty! I can’t wait to see what people do with them. The heads could look quite interesting on the centaur bodies. Ruoxi’s torso looks like Xun’s. Perhaps a little, uh, “perkier” but I highly suspect that's the blushing and resin color. I’ve got a Xun and she looks almost identical to the exposed part of the chest. Besides legs, the listed measurements are identical. Not sure how reliable RS's measurements are, but it could be a good hint. Shan looks like Shi with maybe a little more chest. Her lower torso looks the same as Shi and my Xun.
@purple_monkfish I’m pretty sure Xun is the same as Shi with a larger bust. Every sales pic of Shi is the same otherwise to my girl. If you need specific reference photos, my Xun can pick up a career as a cam girl. It’s about time she earned her keep around here anyway. She's unblushed in a light tan.

Random dolly aside- for the first time in a year, my nameless centaur girl is assembled, wired, and painted. I tried to do some body blushing last summer, had a mishap with the respirator, and put off messing with her since. I did a faceup recently that I’m somewhat happy with, she stole a wig (temporarily I hope!) and I think I can finally say I’m in love. Not shown, but she also laid claim to a light pink sweater. Still need to do something with the body, but that will wait. I need to let the ladies fight out the status of the rainbow wig first so I know what I'm doing with that tail.
