Well here are the pics you have been waiting for, she arrived ok, the inside piece of the headcap that holds the magnets was unglued but I just pushed it back in. Will take some comparison photos later today but here are a couple I took outside together with obligatory cat! The resin is a much nicer colour than it looked in the photos, a bluey-grey rather than a browny-grey which I thought it was.

Wow, the color looks waaaay better than in the promo pics. Awesome! And I finally figured out what I'm going to name my girl: Diantha. Hopefully she'll ship out soon

 

Some more photos, she does seem look a lot more blue than grey when indoors, the indoor ones are taken in daylight but she does look blue. Shown with a Limhwa half-elf in french resin that has yellowed slightly to try and give a true colour comparison.

 

She is still ever so awesome, but I'm having doubts about the grey now I already have a blue girl and I dont want this girl to be blue by accident

 

I guess the grey is kind of like the lilac in that is looks different colors in different lights.

 

avrilpaeony: Is there any chance you could get a photo with an Euclase? I was hoping to use a RS body for a hybrid.

 

Thanks Snow I emailed Resinsoul the orderform and . . . YAY I finally ordered DAN in Coffee ! love that color she will be an exotic ramgirl LOL It takes about 4 weeks before she arrives ?? so I have plenty time to make her an outfit.

tashayarna: sorry I don't know anyone with an Euclase, bjd owners are a bit thin on the ground around here. In photos the euclase does not look quite as blue-grey but it is difficult to tell. I would have sent you a horn to compare but I am posting her head away on Thursday for a face-up to be done by Pepstar in US so that is quite exciting, I love her work. She normally blushes the whole body and does the manicure and pedicure as well but it will be just too expensive to send the whole doll. Having escaped customs when she arrived I would probably get nabbed when she came back.

 

aww that's very sweet of you to suggest that ^_^ I think they might be good matches from what I've seen so far, and if the body is more blue-ish I think I'll just blush his head to match, or vica versa.

I cant wait to see more pictures of her shes fantastic and I'm tempted to get one myself ^.^

 

Avril: YOUR GIRL IS GORGEOUS! It is so good to see a Dan without a faceup, too, because her sculpt is WAY more flattering than what the site shows her as! . She's wonderful, I even like how blue-grey she is! I think she looked more brown in the promo pics because of the choice of faceup colours and the fur she has.

And with that said, I'm not getting a grey one. I will already be having a blue doll and a grey doll eventually (my Nanu will be dyed and Euclase comes in grey for me already. Xd.) so I guess I'm almost eighty percent sure I'll be ordering in lilac. Or else, still blue.

Though if somebody in Vancouver is getting a grey one, I can take resin comparisons with my Euclase at the next meet up, if anyone is interested. .

Blah, I'm just considering getting her in white (yes yes I have one of those already aswell, allthough she's more yellow lol) because the red is just too dark for me probably and the grey is too blue
What would look good with all black stuff and red horns... hmmm i don't know anymore D:

I think she'd look good in white, or the light tan color. Whatever color you choose, I'm sure she'll be beautiful!
I think pink with black horns would be awesome, too. Maybe I need a pink Dan to go with my lilac one. Darn it Resinsoul why do you have to make such pretty dolls in such fab colors???

I just love how resinsoul has improved so much in so little time. It's awesome.
I bet there will be more grey dans in before I can order mine so I'm just going to wait it out a bit and otherwise I think she;ll be white.

 

I think the grey is rather nice, looking forward to getting a grey rs doll in the future ^^

 

I still think you should go for her, Snow. . From what I've seen my pictures, she's a versatile grey. She'll take on a tone of whatever you put her aroudn (or maybe whatever colour you blush her with, I'm thinking. .)

Just a quick question for those of you who own Dans~
How is her poseing? Can she stand easily?

I own a Bobobie, and as much as I love her, the posing is not great. Especially her wrists. I hope this is not the case for this body, because I really like how it looks... But I'd rather not be stuck with something so-so.
