Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Resinsoul Dan has horns!! *58 cm*

    1. I don't know from experience, but I can tell you that you should probably expect Dan to pose MUCH better since she's a ResinSoul doll. The sculpt and mechanics of ResinSoul bodies far far exceed that of Bobobie despite them being "sister" companies.

      ResinSoul's bodies have a much more natural look while Bobobie's tend to look a bit on the blocky/chunky/square side.

      From what I've heard, all ResinSoul dolls pose pretty well. :)

    2. From what the dolls look like as far as their pictures on the Bobobie and Resinsoul site, it looks like the same doll (or at least the same pictures are used...). Are they strung differently or given S-hooks when ordered from different sites? I haven't ordered from either so I don't know first hand but am planning on getting one and would like to know. :sweat

    3. @Celinia Resinsoul 58cm dolls (Dai Jun and Dan) do have s-hooks in hands and feet, I asked on the RS O&A board.

      Dan is my first SD ! I have a question I want to make her an outfit my pattern is for SD13 so overall have to adapt the pattern a bit because she is smaller.
      Can anyone please confirm her "reallife" measurements ? this mm are from RS website chest 22.5 waist 15.5 hips 24.

      edit: Anyone knows what eyesize to use for Dan ? I prefer smaller eyes that shows more eyewhite for a "human" look. I want to buy her Soom silicon eyes or Eyeco soft glass eyes (also made of silicon). Thanks !

    4. aeryn I have just measured my Dan and I would say that those measurements are pretty much spot on, I agree with them all. I am not sure what eye size she comes with, probably 16mm as they usually seem to. I have sent my head away for a face-up now so can't check but didn't bother changing the eyes as I liked the ones she came with. Her eyes are quite small so I would think that 14mm would be ok.

    8. I't been explained a thousand times by now but okay.
      Resinsoul makes the sculpts. They design them and sculpt them. Bobobie casts them in resin and thus can sell them aswell.

      Yeah, I think I will be able to order her. I've been havign second thoughts though :c But I'm just going to order her and see where it goes. I can always sell her if it goes nowhere.
      I'm sure about the red horns, but not the skin yet. Think it will be grey but I'm not completely sure.

    13. Second thoughts, really? :( I hope you end up getting her. If it doesn't work out, like you said, you could always resell her. If you get one with a face up I'm sure she'd sell quickly. :)

      With the red horn,s you could always do gray or green or tan skin. Or, even red or pink or white. :D.

    14. Ye, the second thoughts were only because I just 'finished' a msd girl of mine and she needs a sister lol.
      But I still want to get her. I think she'll be my only SD in the end.
      I think I have settled on grey. I wouldve liked white, but if she yellows she will become a glow in the dark kindof yellow like my white Ju and I don't want that, seeing as she shows alot of skin. SO I'm putting my bets on the grey :)
