And I have a dollmeet on the 19th so I have to buy my trainticket there, an I was supposed to go to another aswell, but that would cost too much
So that would be my only expense. No new clothes and stfuf xD
I already have a wig and clothes for Dan, but no shoes yet (they always seem to come at the very last when it comes to my dolls) and I have several eyes, and I'm going to try if they fit and otherwise order some when I get her shoes aswell Which will be in two months xD

 

But you already have some of her stuff! that's pretty good! .

I know that whenever I have full complete dolls, the first thing they get is a set of eyes and a wig. Then some clothes. Sometimes I've had dolls come home to me and then change hands later without me even buying them a single pair or shoes. XD. Whoops!

 

Have you seen her in the red? It is gorgeous- perfect for a forest spirit as well because it is an earthy red-brown. There is a red Dan in the box opening gallery right now- I am so jealous!

 

Wigs come first for me really. Dunno why xD I usually use eyes I got for free somewhere before I get some for them. Clothes are a second, then eyes maybe and faceup. And then alllll the way in the end are shoes xD

I got Dan a dollzone Celine limited outfit and I really really hope it will fit

@Pumibel: it's the first dan that's arrived and she's absolutely stunning and if they don't bring out a boy I like I'm definately getting another Dan in red.
She's a nice brick red, it's really soft and not so bright and I love that. And it just makes her face look really different.

That's another thing I'm not looking forward to. Dan would be my (new) first girl doll (I had a MNF one but I sold her) and that means I'll have to buy girl clothes and shoes on top of buying/making gear for my already ballooning crew. Seriously. I've bought so many dolls in the past three months and normally, I do one every year or two. XD Curse these new companies!

I also like the red skintone. She looks like a tomato.

 

Dan is my first SD, so I'm looking in a whole different category now D:
I hd a dolly spree aswell for some reason
I started in december with my two Ju's (who arrived 5 days apart lol) and in february I got my Mei, and in march or so I got a MNF Juri event head and a Woosoo head, but eventually sold Woosoo last month, but quickly after that I got a puki xD
Its horrible. Oh and then I didn't even mention the puki I had back in december, had her for two weeks and sold her right after I got my first Ju lol.

That's the outfit. The gloves are missing though. But that's alright :B I think she should fit the skirt just fine, I'm just worried about the top.
I have a great handmade (not by me) corset in cream and bordeaux though to help out if it doesn't fit ;D

And even though the clothes are little (as in skimpy xD ) they're still so huge compared to msd's!

 

I know. . When I first got my Kohya, all I'd seen were my friend's MSDs. The jumpsuit he came with by itslef must've been taller than most minis! XD.

For me, I bought my Kohya first (it took me nine months to pay him off X_x.), then a year later, I bought a DoC too (who went this April), and then the year after that, I bought my MNF Shushu (who is gone, as you know) and she came with my Nanuri since I ordered her during the event. I took a break from dolls for two years because I was going through 'troubled times', and now this year, I've bought three dolls. D:. With more coming, I just know it. I want my Dan before the year's out! XD

In any case, though, skimpy or not, I think your Dan will look really good in her clohtes. I like the corset. It looks like it's been made with real boning. /

 

Dolls can do that to you xD It's insane.
The corset is really firm, but I;m not sure if it has boning. Maybe small plastic ones
She'll be getting a long black wig with two white streaks in front. I'm just hoping it will suit her D:

I got to hold a 70 cm guy once and I was all like it's so different from MSD's. From the weight to the way you have to hold them xD I love it.

 

I've seen the red and it's a gorgeous colour, but I see it more as a fire or earth spirit colour (kind of looks like the colour of the soil here), but I think I have a decision on the colour, thanks to Dollmore I got some free eyes with my latest order and they are just perfect for a green resin forest spirit - dark green circling an almost animal like golden brown... Now just to pay off the current orders and commissions and then she's next!

 

I see your point- the red would be earth or fire. I had a green Elena for a while, and the color is deep and beautiful. The only reason I sold her was because I needed the money in a snap. I haven't seen a Bobobie color I didn't like, LOL.

Snow: Well, you know, even if those outfits don't work on her, you know, she was so cheap to buy in the first place that you can just buy her more clothes with all that money you've saved. 8Db.

And I totally know what you mean about size. The shear heft of a large d9oll is what made me prefer them over MSDs. If I could just get over DoC Si, I'd have a completely all-big-doll family, but five years after seeing Si on his website release, I'm *still* obsessed. X_x. So I guess it's meant to be? :P

dolls&tea: Yeahhhhh! ! You're going with my suggestion! She'll looking bangin' with those eyes! Do you have alink to them? They'd be cool for us to look at while we're all still deliberation on our Dans. XD

And yes, I can always get different clothes xD I even have a dollmore MSD outfit that stretches and is WAY too big for my resinsoul MSD girls, so maybe it can even fit her xD Who knows.

 

My gray Dan has been released by Customs so hopefully should be arriving soon, I am away Thu-Sat so hope she comes before then.

 

Congrats, avrilpaeony! You'll have to post pics when you get her. My lilac Dan hasn't shipped yet, the wait is killing me.

 

I love the red Dan...she just needs a tail and hooves! Or perhaps very earthy, natural looking sandals. With Resinsoul colored resin, the color goes all the way through, no? So theoretically, I could sand down her nose a bit if I got one and wanted to?

Of course, the Draenei idea is awful tempting...but then I'd definately need a Lian night elf! So many options!

The resin goes all the way though, but if you sand it, there will be a slight color difference but that can be fixed. it generally goes lighter but there;s some stuff you can put on it to make it less noticable but I'm not sure what it was anymore...

 

Question ? How to order from Resinsoul website ? I tried to order Dan I filled out the form but my order got cancelled . . . twice !! No ordernumber no email ... help please

 

If it failed (seems to happen often... ) they'll gladly help you if you mail them! You can order through there. I did it once
