It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Ringdoll Grown Dolls, thread #10

Mar 12, 2025

    1. lol back again, just received my first official son, a mystery secondhand "junk" doll (won in auction with horrible pics of the product) that turned out to be a Boyce in white skin instead of the promo tan. I'm pleasantly surprised as Boyce was on my wishlist but I didn't think I'd ever get him. He even came with a full outfit, boots, a wig, eyes, a glove, and a skeleton staff. sadly, I didn't plan ahead and he's wearing a dress i bought for one of my incoming larger dolls until i can make him some proper clothes. I hope I can clean him up a bit soon and fix his loose string so he can stand with dislocating his legs. For a 10 year old doll, he has barely any yellowing even though he is white skin, which is also a nice bonus.

    2. Thank you! I did use layaway directly with Ringdoll. I used PayPal to send my payments to them. The max you can do a layaway is 4 months when I did it. It was super easy and Ringdoll will email you the amounts that are need for your layaway. Ringdoll shipped my dolls through DHL and it is super fast too. I think dolls are only shipped through DHL.

My Ringdoll Bast and Anubis did come in! Here are pics of my lovelies!! :D:D
Now, I am just waiting for Frankenstein and I CAN'T WAIT till he comes home too!

    6. I just placed my order for 50 cm Wei Wuxian! I am so excited! Is anyone else here getting him too??
I will need to figure out where to get some clothes for him because he's bigger than all of my msd's en smaller than all my SD's. :sweat
If anyone has any advise on what fits ringdoll 50 cm boys that would be great! :D

    7. Well... it finally happened, Ringdoll got me!

There's something delightful about the face sculpt of Famine — the normal one, not the special one, although that's a spectacular body horror specimen (just not my thing). They're killing it with the whole Horseman lineup, but I'd been able to resist until now.

The fullset is impressive but mine's only going to be a nude doll in tan, since I'm tentatively styling him as an angel that's a visual opposite to my DZ Light. Still, simple as he is, I'm excited! This company has so many beautiful sculpts that I've been considering, but when I saw this one, I knew I found the perfect first Ringdoll for me.

    8. My only saving grace to all these amazing sculpts they've been throwing at us lately is that they're all of a size larger than I want/am comfortable with. I have 2-72cm boys (not RD) and they're a LOT of doll to me. There wasn't another, shorter option for them so I had to take what was offered (so to speak). It's not my intention to add any more dolls to my collection over the 70cm mark (and I'd prefer to keep them under 65cm, tbh).

Now, should RD decide to offer some of their recent boys at a shorter stature like their 50-ish cm version... I may be in deep trouble. I love the Alpha doll but he's regretfully too large for my tastes as he is currently available. I love the look of Baldwin's special head (and yeah, I'm aware he is/was available in smaller size) as well as the 4 horsemen they're releasing but I'm also drawn to the unusual and they def tick those boxes for me but are too big.

    9. I felt the same way about Pestilence! I immediately fell for his face and knew he had to be my first doll. I feel like he was perfectly crafted to appeal to me.. :XD: They're really doing great with this series, Famine is awesome as well. I'm looking forward to the next two!

    10. Boy do I feel this! :XD: Although I love my 1/3 boys, they are indeed A Lot. For a variety of reasons, I find myself preferring 1/4 overall, so I'm both delighted and terrified that companies like Ringdoll and Loongsoul seem to be releasing 1/4 versions of their 1/3 sculpts.

The scale has been the only thing saving me from picking up Bast, but if he's the same as Anubis (who I also love), then I assume there could be a 1/4 version inbound... or has there been one already that I'm not aware of? Either way, Ringdoll is going to have my wallet in a chokehold if they drop Bast and/or Frankenstein in a smaller size. I passed on Frankenstein before but I might not be able to resist a mini version of him.

We've been personally victimized by Ringdoll! They make so much stuff that feels like it's been made specifically to keep me in Doll Debt until the heat death of the universe. Ironically, I think that's what kept me from choosing one until now... how could I pick between so many equally awesome things?! There was just something about this guy's face in particular that stuck out above the rest, and so, here we are.

    11. Last year they slyly got me with a Ksitigarbarah with the default face-up for Black Friday. Nothing there this year tweaked me but they also tend to do an Xmas sale, too, so I don't feel like I can be marked safe yet.

I thought there was a release for Bast or Anubis in the 50-ish range a little while back? I'm like 99% sure there was. I have a lot of 50-ish cm boys from multiple companies. They're much more portable while still retaining the maturity of the larger SD boys.

    12. Did anyone else order Frankenstein? It's been exactly six months and I haven't heard anything. From my understanding, Ringdoll takes 4-6 months to ship dolls. I finished my layaway in August.

    13. @maykoh Ringdoll have had shorter wait times recently – my Alpha body (70cm, Soom Normal matching resin, electroplating) took 6 months, ordered through Alice's Collections.
Ringdoll do have a history of long wait times – if you look back through the waiting room, you can see the long wait times some people experienced, especially for collab dolls like the MZDS boys.
All the new releases like the Horsemen, combined with 11.11 sales and the holiday/new year season are likely to slow orders down a bit.

I'd recommend checking in with Ringdoll or your dealer.

    14. Their Horsemen line is so damn gorgeous! :D Honestly I'm super bummed that big new doll purchases are totally off the cards for me for a few years (yay, life stuff) but one can dream.

    15. Hi everyone,

I am currently doing a little research since I sort of found one of the new Ringdoll sculpts that I really rather like.

Since it's been about 6 years since the last doll purchase from them I am a little bit lost on the newer body types. So my question is of anyone here has the RGMbody-06 and RGMbody-07-75 and could help with some owner pictures of what they look like. I have been checking the official photos buy I always find owner photos are a very good compliment to decide.

So, this is going to sound weird but.... uhm... for the 07 body my main question mark at the moment is just how much of a .... uhhhh.... (how to word this) "leaning back with hips forward, putting a lot of 'hey look at me' focus on the general man-bit area" this body actually has going on when put in a neutral "just standing here minding my own business" pose. I sort of get the impression that the posing in the company photos may be giving me the wrong idea and figured it's best to ask.

Also while I'm at it, would anyone have happened to have purchased a Zhang Jiao (the dude with the goat skull mask) and could help with a reference photos of what the proportions are like between the body and head since it's a bit hard to figure out on the full set photos.

      Many thanks in advance!

    16. sorry i havent quite figured out images on this site yet, but i recently had my 7-75 body arrive and it stands fairly well without pushing the hips. in my opinion it is more well proportioned in person than in the photos on their sites, the pp is also removable now so it doesnt draw as much attention as before

    17. The website photos do emphasize the pelvic push
I have two 07 bodies (70cm and 75cm) and they stand straight when posed normally. Sorry I don't have pictures.

    18. Thank you so much, that is wonderful news. I think both the body types look amazing but if I get the doll I think I will choose the 07 body. I think that sometimes the promo photos, while great in every way, focus so much on the range of movement and ability to pose the doll that it sometimes gets a little bit more difficult to figure out “what do you actually look like from different angles when you are not performing gymnastics?”

Oh! That’s news for sure. My first Ringdoll doll had the man-bits sculpted as part of the body while the rest of them had their thingy like jointed. Through to be fair to them it only drew attention to itself on that body type if using tight pants/underpants :aeyepop:.

I had no idea Ringdoll had begun to have it removable. Thank you for letting me know. Call me silly but I do feel a little bit sorry for the guys if I were to like… take the thingy off and put it away in a box or something :sweat However… for any sort of tighter pants I imagine it’s a very good option

      Yes… yes it does :sweat

I don’t mind it as such, but let’s just say there is a time and place for everything depending on the context :

Example 1: “Yes hello, I am here with my awesome band posing for a photo shoot. Oh, more man bit focus? Why certainly *pelvic push*

Example 2: “Hello co-worker from a different department who I don’t really know at all, may I ask you for help with something? *pelvic push* :XD:

Example 3: “Hello boss, you asked for some overtime and here I am to help *pelvic push* :whee:

In at least two of these examples, I imagine it would end with a stern talk with HR

Thank you so much for letting me know! It’s awesome that the 07 body does stand straight and that the company photos only gave a different impression :D I have the 02 body for all except one of my Ringdoll dolls (one 03 body) and as much as I love the 02 body it would be cool to add another body type to the collection.

    19. Haha thank you :whee:. Long story short but the wrong context man-bit focus is one of those re-occurring topics that I find hilarious, especially if matched with another character’s reaction being the equivalent of this smiley :nowords:. There is this one comic book series I read many years ago that does this a LOT to the main villain. So, the first time you get a full figure "TADA BE AFRAID!" image of the character the first thought is "could you please clarify if it is the crotch you are introducing as the villain I'm supposed to be afraid of or is the rest of the character also part of this? Just asking because most of the image and all of the focus is on the crotch.... repeatedly throughout this comic book" :sweat
