Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. I saw that they tweeted that he'll be released during the summer. Buuuut... I hope it's more towards Halloween...so I can muster up the last bit of funds. :P I'd rather by him on the spot, rather than lay away. Cuz I'm greedy.

    3. My god, that's so cool!! My English dork side is showing!!

      I think it's the whole concept that's so amazing to me. It matches with the idea of their Frankenstein doll, as in the original story, Victor ultimately destroys the "bride" because he fears the idea of his Monster being able to breed, and thus, destroys his only way of appeasing his creation by killing the bride before he even animates her.

      The interpretation for me, the idea of an almost artificial womb, with a removable belly to see the child, is very interesting, even fascinating interpretation of what scares Victor in the text. Honestly, so many companies barely pay attention to the texts of the stories they make dolls of, it's awesome to see one that creates something could be considered more accurate than other things. Can't wait to see what people do when they release them!!

    4. Heh... Ignoring the text... like referring to the Monster as Frankenstein? ;)

      I'm not a purist, so I think calling the sculpt Frankenstein is just a kind of short-cut instead of saying Frankenstein's monster.

      I can't wait to see more of both of these dolls!

    5. It seems like Ringdoll has a list of dolls they're going to release this year (maybe) and it's all so exciting. I think what excites me more is if the second version of their Frankenstein looks this amazing,
      I can't wait to see more dolls from their dark line. :)

      XpHoBiaX: I know what you mean, it would be fun if he was released around Halloween, but the thought of the wait makes it painful for me. :)

      Shadeling Sanguine: Let your dork side be heard :) It's fun thinking that Ringdoll does go that deep into their lore and make it show in their work. If you met Shan and saw the dolls in person you could see he does
      put his passion into the dolls. I'm curious to see what people would do with the bride and how they would customize her.

    6. I'm getting him. Ever since I first laid eyes on the original, I knew I had to have this boy one way or the other. This new release is perfect for me because I loved his original outfit, and I like how the new body looks. Also, those freakin' fantasy parts. I love him.

    7. I REALLY wish Ringdoll would consider releasing the new Frankenstein in white. I have the original Frankenstein and LOVE him to pieces, but I don't want the new one if they won't offer him in another color other than the grey. I think they'd be too similar for me. I even asked Ringdoll if they'd sell him in white and they said no, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed they change their minds. If, big "if" they release him in white, he'd become my 6th Ringdoll. Ringdoll owns my soul ;) Maybe if others e-mail them showing interest they'd reconsider releasing him in other colors.

    9. i´m so happy that i have the chance to get him now (missed him last time because i was new in the hobby and can´t afford him... didn´t know about layaway V_V).... he suck off all my savings for my Iplehouse Arvid but at least he isn´t limited.

      And i hope he come with the outfit from the first realease (or something similiar). I loved the clothes and searched on the marketplace to get one... but never find it. The new special parts are just awesome and i have to say that i like this version much more (good thing that i missed the first one though). But i have to change his face-up (and getting the mechanical eye for him). I want a more mexican death mask style (or something like the model "Zombieboy") and give him some tattoos as well.

    15. Here's a quick photomanip I did of the old version of Frankenstein to kind of figure what I want to do with the new one when I get him. Nothing too complicated, just darkening up the faceup a little and adding a lip ring, really.
