Ringdoll's Frankenstein 2013 Edition and Bride of Frankenstein

I'm thinking he's going to be a villain of mine. A human that's been taken over by evil robots. He's conflicted by the voices and actions of the robots and his own needs as a human. i don't have a name yet, but I think it'll come to me when he gets here ^.^

 

I don't have a name yet, but he'll fit in with my two robotic modified dolls I have at home. I plan on having more robotic modded dolls to add. One of my characters is terminally ill and lives alone with robots as his only company.

 

I have plans!

Uhm, I am still on the fence on what I am going to do, but I do know Frankie is going to be an artist. He's going to be a bit eccentric, he loves beauty and nature. His name is DaVinci!

I know I may do a couple mods, nothing major. I think I want that cage to have a "cap" on it like the original Frankie. I like that blue thingy. lol

I may fill in his open side where the "tube thing" goes into. I don't like that aspect all that much. I want the tubes to go to the tank, and I'll attach something onto the tank so that extra tube has a purpose.

I may or may not be able to do blushing myself, as my asthma may be too much of an issue. I'm super sensitive to irritants, dust and what have you. -_-" It's ridiculous!

 

I'm contemplating the Bride as a sister to my original Frank, Viktor. V is perfectly happy as a bachelor uncle-figure, but he would like some family of his own!

Mine is going to be named Faust. Not sure exactly what his personality will be, but mostly I think he will be a sad, gentle monster. I plan on adding a lip ring and possibly a few ear piercings, and if there's anything else I'll have to see when he arrives. But otherwise, I'm not going to plan too much. I feel kind of held back if I make plans before actually holding the doll and deciding what would be best in person. When I feel like I have freedom with a doll, I feel like I can do my best work with them.

 

I name him Prototype. He will get two personalitys. One side the cruel monster full of hatred, without mercy and the other side the gentle self-hating man. I have no other similiar sized dolls at home at the moment but i think about getting an Souldoll Ian as a good friend and later lover for him. i love difficult romances... my own Jedi character is still in love with a Sith woman. Much dramatic story i ever writte with two of my friends

 

mine will be named Liderc, he's an 18th century surgeon that started experimenting on other humans in order to find how to become immortal because he was terrified at watching his late father decay into nothing. He eventually goes mad and starts doing strange experiments on himself, removing organs and replacing them hence the scars and such. The frank doll works perfectly to resinize my character XD

any news on release dates yet?

 

I love all these plans and stories! We definitely need to put up a topic for the Frankie dolls when we all get one!

 

I've been talking to Cherry, one of Ringdoll's sales reps, and she says that his release date will be announced in just a few days (beginning of July). But until then, they can't say exactly. (Also, he won't be coming with jointed hands. Kind of a bummer, but maybe they'll do those later on as an event item or something? That'd be pretty nice.)

 

I agree with definitely needing a topic up when he is released! I would love to see pictures of what everyone plans to do!

oh goodness, news in just a few days? I'm so anxious! I'm paranoid that the release will be super limited and that I won't be able to get one so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for myself and for everyone else that there will be enough to go around.

 

I don't get paid till the 4th so I'm praying they wait till then!!!!

Yes! Thank you so much! I've been busy scrambling to save. lol! That's a bummer though about the jointed hands. I guess I will have to deal with it, or order from another company.

At least I can blush the hands easily to match Frankie. xD

Yeah, even though I'm not sure how much he'll be this time, I've got a goal I'm going to shoot for as far as saving. Already about halfway there, but I want to make sure I have it all when he comes out so I can just pay right away. Who knows, maybe they'll have some ready to go when the first orders are made? That'd be really nice.

Also, the rep I've been talking to has said that it's likely they'll try to release a set of jointed hands for Frankenstein at a later date as either a limited item or an event item, depending on other people's interest in them. (Apparently other people have been asking about them too)

I'm hoping too! I have enough for a grown. I want to buy him outright too. I'm sort of hoping I can just get the doll, not a fullset. Since I am not all that interested in the set. I hope I can be choosey, at least a little bit. (I'd like a regular arm...and maybe ask for a normal leg if they can lol. xD)

I hope there is a price list of things in the set...cuz that would be great if I HAVE to get the fullset.

 

He's going to come with the special arm and leg, and then a set of regular limbs anyway.
