It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Sometimes I feel different, because I've never been into roleplaying. I'm however very much into writing, so I kinda understand, why some people would want to roleplay. It's just I don't want to share my story with anyone else. Not that I don't want to people to know what my story is about or what my characters are like, I just don't want anyone else have a say in those things. :)

    3. I would if I knew anyone with BJD near me. It's never really worked out. I had something going on a thread here a few years back (like 5-6 years ago!) and that was nice.

      I guess I have a very established world and someone would have to come into it, but it's big world and has plenty of room for new folks.

    4. Though I like to roleplay original characters, I think it would be fun to try and roleplay with my dolls :3 It would be a good way to test out their personalities or possibly build them a more elaborate backstory.

    6. My dolls are based on my RP characters. :) So it's more like I RP the characters and then I got dolls to represent them. My favorite RP buddies also have dolls of their characters and we RP them together, so I guess yes! I do RP my dolls with other hobbyists. XD Someday, I'll bring my dolls to visit my friends and we'll get pics of them together too.

    7. My wife also collects and we've roleplayed together for years. Our dolls are just an extension of our RP characters, so we just do what we've always done. ^^ I am a member/moderator of a BJD guild on Gaia and RP with some people there, but the BJD community there is pretty dead and I don't think the RP forum has been posted in for a month! BJDs or no, my wife is the only reliable RPer I know, and a great writer, so I just stick with her!

    9. I just got my dollfies and i rp with them a bit actually i created a tumblr account for them where it is open for rping with other bjd collecters and dollfies. so if anyone is intrested in making an rp shoot me a messsage wise and we can rp!
