I messaged Tatiana asking whether she had any estimate on when she would be able to ship out our dolls, and she messaged me back saying that the casting should be finished next week. She also send me a link to the factory's Flickr where they post progress pics: Haru casting

 

My girl has just cleared customs!

 

Super exciting. Who did you get? I can't wait to see these beauties arrive! Also looks like mine has made it to the US. I should be able to pick her up this weekend! Double wheee!

 

I ordered Hana in normal skin and she has already arrived
I can honestly say she is the best and most natural poser I've ever laid my hands on and the amount of detail in the face and hands on this tiny scale is amazing. The eyes and wig that she came with also are masterfully made...soo tiny, but beautiful. I'll get some pictures up for you guys asap.

These dolls are incredible! I'm so glad @Azra-Elle posted that box opening, I'm completely in love now. I think one of these girls is going to become my official grail... How often does Tatiana do preorders for them? I think the last post on her DeviantArt about them was from last year... should I just make a flickr to follow her?

I don't know how often she does pre-orders but I do know there was some sort of a waiting list, so you should just send her a message asking if you can be put on this list or otherwise be kept up to date on future pre-orders.

 

Okay I haven't even looked at your box opening yet...lol.... BUT - I also picked up my Hana today. Your statement sums up the jumble of first impression! I literally ran for every bus and train to make to the post office before it closed and it was worth it!

In a short note, Hana is precious. This size is precious. The sculpting reads like a fine porcelain doll. It's not bulky or clunky. The fingers and toes... I have no idea how these little bits were sculpted so tiny. The shoes!!!!

I knew the fleur size was small but as a big doll collector - 18cm is soooo hard to conceptualize. I love that she is a mature doll but itty bitty and fits in the palm of your hand. For me she'll make the perfect faerie muse or secret house sprite; exactly what I was looking for - I seriously wish I had ordered more.

Ugh...now the hard part - sending her off to be painted. I don't if she'll be an artist worst nightmare or a game changer.

Also wig and eyes are lovely! I am so so pleased.

I am actually sending Nele's faceplate off today already, but I'll be leaving on holiday coming monday, so hopefully that'll make the wait feel less long ^^

Reading about you all holding your dolls in your hands makes me feel so jealous Mine's visiting the face-up artist first. Thank you for the photos, @Azra-Elle, it really makes waiting easier (I haven't be able to see Hana's profile before and it's so beautiful).

She still needs a face up and proper clothes - at the moment she's borrowing a Monster High outfit. Her things from Azone are on the way. Meanwhile, I found this awesome 1/6 scale duffle on one of my action figure websites. It's the perfect doll carrier for her!

 

I ordered. Tatiana is such a sweetheart! She answered all my questions and promptly set up layaway. I can't wait! For those who have her, what clothes fit her?

As for clothes....I can chime in. Today I got my Azone XS stuff and it's way to big (I forget where I saw the reference for this size as a possibility). I also tried clothes from Monster High and those fit better. Caveat - the MH outfit was a pair of shorts and a tank top, so long sleeves or pants will be way to long. I'm debating trying Azone 1/12 clothes or ordering from someone who makes custom MH clothes. I haven't tried anything else yet.

 

I'm getting Hana! I have a ton of MH stuff. There are a few smaller clothes (MH dolls with the "little sister" bodies like Twyla) that I will try on her once she arrives

 

Oh I love Hana. I have her too. She is so darling in person. I hope you really enjoy her. And you are so lucky to have a ton of MH clothes! You should be pretty set then. I don't know if you got the resin shoes that go with Hana - but they are super super cute! Congrats again.

 

I didn't know they were a topic for Fleur here. I received mine a long time ago. The clothes she's wearing are from my Yuzu (same size as pukifee) , and the shoes not show on the photo are some barbie shoes.

I've ordered her in tan skin with faceup, and I can say that the extra waiting time was definitely worth it - the faceup is stunning. I've actually seen Fleur in person two years ago, so the size wasn't a surprise, quite the contrary - I've remembered her smaller She's my first tan doll and I'm in love with the color.
She'll have wait for me to make her any clothing, something I'm determined to finally do. I don't have any MH clothes anymore, so she will have to stay nude until then.
