Forgive my lateness in discovering your beautiful dolls. Are there any available at present? They are just stunning!
Mrs A, There are few dolls in stock still available: x4 normal resin and x1 tan resin Feel free to visit my Etsy Shop for listings, if you are still interested: Miniature 1/12 Ball Jointed Dolls by RosenGardenBJD Thank you for your kind words!
Hi! Are you maybe planning to offer white resin dolls as well? Is there any difference between normal resins of the two casting companies?
I think she uses one company for normal resin and another company for the tan. My normal skin Nari is just beautiful but she is having a hard time finding clothes that fit here! I may have to give her a towel and take some pictures!
Oh, same here for Ouse, although I did start making some easy dresses from scraps of lace. I know Azone clothes are more or less working in some cases, but sleeves for sure will be too long. I have a photo of my Hana in one of their blouses: Do show her, I'm definitely planning to get normal (or white) resin Nari at some point and I would love to see your girl.
Oooooooo there's a normal skin Nari in stock, which is what I would have gotten... But she looks SO amazing in tan!!! Aaaa... If anyone has their Nari (or Iris, or any of them!) I neeeed to see them...
Double post, but-- I did it!!! I just submitted an order for a Nari in Normal!!! I figure I can look into dying or trading her if I really can't get used to the normal resin, but I'm excited!!! Tatiana showed me This NS Nari Faceup, and she reminded me a smidge of Angell Studio Kana, who was one of the very first BJDs I ever seriously considered getting. Especially with that in mind, I think I can find a look for her I really like.
I think so, too, @nancy_schroeder_ca !!! I've wanted one of these tiny girls for a long time now, I think she'll be a lot of fun ^^ I'm not, @MsPatricius , even though I'm eager to see her all put-together. I'm actually really looking forward to doing a faceup on such a small doll! I think it will be fun ^^ I'm looking forward to doing quite a lot with her! I'm hoping I'll find a smaller scale to be easier to just jump right into. With my larger dolls (all SDs), I'm always worried about wasting materials, or starting big projects. At such a small scale, even big projects can't be all that big... Hopefully that encourages me to actually do them, haha!
There might be something to it, Ouse is the only one that I made clothes for (as simple as they might be). But I definitely feel she's easier to do something with, for example she needs minimal space for a photoshoot. The size is more difficult technically when it comes to more ambitious sewing though.
My girl is HERE!! She arrived yesterday, actually, but I started the faceup and got caught up, all that. Was hoping to do more work with the faceup, but of course it's raining. She definitely needs more work on the eyes, and depth to the lips. There were only white and burgundy wigs left in stock-- I got the white, thinking maybe I'll coffee stain it to brown? I hope getting wet won't ruin the hardcap, hmmm... Haven't decided what hairstyle yet, either... Very exciting, though! Maybe I'll see if I can find some clothes for her.
Oh this make-up looks interesting! I love the blush and lips. She seems like she's lost in thoughts. I've once asked Tatiana about the wig and she said that you absolutely shouldn't get the wig wet, because it'll get puffy. SusseiBJD has wigs for sale though: by SusseiBJD
Oh no, I didn't know that! Good thing I never got around to trying coffee staining! Hope Sussei gets some new colors in stock soon. Than you for letting me know! EDIT: Oh, and THANK YOU! I'm still really enjoying my Nari's look!
There was some posts a few pages back by dolldaft about various shoes. I myself am thinking of trying Picco Neemo shoes. On another note, there will be a new Asian mold! Instagram post by Tatiana Nagrebecka • Dec 12, 2017 at 4:38am UTC And I haven't managed to get Nari yet This girl is definitely on my list though, I'm happy the line is expanding.
All the new girls in the thread are lovely! And I really like the appearance of the new Asian mold - Tatiana is an amazing artist! I have been making my Hana some wigs and I'm working on some more clothing. Here's the latest photo (sorry the quality is so poor) of her newest wig and dress. The dress took me a couple of hours. I made a paper towel pattern and fray-checked the trim lines of the bodice before cutting the pieces out (this helped a lot). There are tiny darts in the fabric in the bust region, and pretty much every seam was given a very thin rolled hem. I don't want it to fall apart! It isn't quite finished, though, since the back is being held together with sewing pins and the skirt is not yet attached to the bodice. Spoiler: The same dress with her white wig
I saw on Instagram that Rosen Garden may not make the ting dolls again. There are a few available on Etsy. I was a piggy and bought two!
