Suna has two carrot wigs: one extra-long with large curls - for special events or meetings, and a wavy one she wears the rest of time at home. The both are just adorable!

(Miranda is also from the 2012 FCE and she's not at all green, and she's seen a lot more sunlight than your girl. If I had to suspect one of my Rosettes of going green it'd be Hadassah, my BT Delilah. But she's not green either)

Oh no! That'd be utterly heartbreaking & frustrating to discover Anna! Especially since she's gotten so little UV exposure. I don't even know Soom's WS still did that... I'm seconding Girrl's question, do you think she could still be fixed with careful blushing, or is she turning into Elphaba?

 

Anna, it's terribly sad. Is there any chance to fix it with blushing or somehow else?

As for PoTW, I was part of a group order led by Zero_A, and bless her soul for staying so patient because it was a mess at first. Our original group leader had to back out because PoTW doesn't respond to their English store and often doesnt fill orders, so we had to hire a Taobao Agent to buy from their Taobao shop, and we didnt get the free shipping that they offer in their English store
But Zero_A was amazing and kept us all updated on the shopping service and the shipping and even shipped to our homes for free! Throughout it all, I just had to suck it up, because it's not like I was any of the other buyers who can easily find cute MSD stuff anywhere else. Practically no one sews for Rosettes, so I was willing to gamble $100 on this order while a lot of the other members backed out
So, I would say only buy from PoTW if youve got a Taobao shopping service because otherwise they are an absolute fiasco to deal with. Hope that helps!

 

Yesterday- or the day before, Rosette posted a teaser of a new doll on Twitter! Looks like some angel girls will be coming our way in time for the holidays. Unfortunately I'm out though- I dropped all my doll monies on Fairyland's Halloween event.

I am a bit confused... Those wings are from rosette? The doll looks like a DD or something similiar
I want them! When will they be available? Just with a doll or without One too?

 

Those are just that companies wings for larger dolls.

And since this is the Rosette Twitter, I am assuming they are going to release this angel girl in the next few months.

 

Looking at the newest pictures on the Twitter, is she going to be a faun?

It looks like the hoof-shoes are maybe for the human feet, but there might also be a separate hoof (foot) part... I wonder if she "transforms" - that would be very in keeping with the fairy tale theme they've been using!

 

Hello all! I recently fell in love with Soom Rosettes and had a few questions:
Are the muse and pure faces different? The muse versions look more childlike, with bigger features. Is this a trick of the light?
Does Soom allow for mix-and-matching? For example, getting the muse Armeria head on the pure lady body?
I'd be so grateful if anyone could answer any of these questions.

I know the faceups are different between the muse and the pure versions of the girls, but I'm pretty sure their faces are the same!

 

They're the same faces, just different faceups. Back before I got my Fir I asked if she could be pure with the muse faceup, and the answer was "no". Kind of silly how strict and limited Soom are with their basic options, considering there's nothing special about either faceup (not completely different like the LE faceups); they just don't want to give one aesthetic to the other.
They started listening to us more recently though (I feel), so it's worth asking.

 

The new Twitter teasers are pretty interesting. I don't love just having cloven feet. I think the whole leg needs to be sculpted to be an animal.

 

Is it just me or are Rosettes becoming more and more like The Gem line? They're gorgeous, no doubt about it, but they no longer seem to have a distinctive Academy style any longer, and they dont come in Rosette boxes anymore either...

 

Somehow, I don't like Rosette's tendency to follow the Gem aesthetics. The line will loose it's own charm, IMHO
Rosettes need for more options, extra parts as hands and feet available in stock, extension of skintone palette or etc. Some things that could make RSOD unique.
Their accesories/clothes/parts shop is almost(?) empty for last two years. They promised to make a male body, but they're making hooves >__< Aaah.

 

I think they have had to follow the money in order to keep the line active. Although maybe it's not really that desperate. I don't know for sure. But it seems obvious that they have had drift away from the Victorian boarding school which wasn't selling.
