    1. I know some people were curious about the new faceups, and I can't photograph it well, but what it reminds me of is Fairyland's defaults. Great detail, lots of color layering in the lips, and she's even got a little beauty mark under her left eye. So cute! Aesh and I are still in the getting-to-know-you stage, raiding her sister's clothing and whatnot.

      If there's any resin color difference in my girl, I can't really tell. But I haven't played with the hands yet.

    4. Quick update about my Cheshire Vela saga. SOOM has let me know that they will be shipping me a new Vela at the end of the month. It will probably work out better this way. However, they made no indication that they were going to give me a whole new one, so now I'm wondering if they are going to send me new ones, or if I am going to be stuck with kneepans that don't match:/ It's just a small thing so I don't know if I want to even bother posting on that congested Q&A board about it.

    6. Good to hear a definitive timeframe, I hope the extra wait is worth it!

      Quick random question for everyone...
      I just got boots for Vela finally, the nice long brown FT Fir ones from the wonderful split Purplevix hosted. I was wondering if staining from boots is an issue, or for the people whose girls wear boots, do you always use socks under them?
      Rosettes have such thin, dainty legs that I'm not sure how much bulk you can add inside fitting boots, but staining is a worse issue if it happens. Also the inside of Vela's new boots are black.

    12. I recently bought a Vela in TS, and I was wondering what size eyes they wear? Would 12mm work? I'm going to make mine into a boy :) I love the long legs and body!

      Congratulations on your incoming Vela! As for eye size, it depends on what look you are after. I use 12mm Soom eyes in my Vela and the iris takes up most of the eye opening. If you are looking for a more mature look, maybe 10mm is the way to go, but I haven't tried that size myself, so I cannot comment on fit. 12mm eyes fit well. Here's a picture of my Vela with her 12mm eyes:

    14. So far there is only one girl with elf ears, and that is Fairy Garden edition Delilah. She is part of the Fairy Tale line which was released over a limited period (~March-April 2014) and includes Alice in Wonderland edition Fir, Sakura and Vela. You can find them here: http://dollsoom.com/eng/shop/list.php?ca_id=409010 .

      Out of all these girls, only Fir and Sakura are offered as regular dolls, but the difference of the Fairy Tale versions is the stronger faceup and special clothes you could include in your order at the time.

      If you're having trouble finding the regular girls (available without limit), go to Shop (don't click) > Body&Parts (click), and then you can choose to view Pure Dolls(47cm) or Muse Dolls(43cm).

    16. The Rosette website only works properly with Internet Explorer, with Firefox half the content is missing, i.e. there is no possibility to get to the Muse girls from their frontpage. Also the new limited girls don't show up on the page of "dolls" only under "recommended" after you click on the central symbol which chages to "home" when hovering over it.
      Really annoying >.< I guess I have to switch to IE everytime I want to take a look at the Rosette page.

    17. Oh so that's what the issue was with elektro not being able to access the Muses :o I didn't realise because I actually use Firefox for all my browsing, and all those links/pages work fine for me.
      As for the "Recommended" option after going Home, I can't actually find it; for me I only see "Recommended" if I click on "Shop" *_*
      And from whatever version of the site I'm seeing, the newest girls are visible on the "Dolls" page, within the "Limited Edition" tab (same as the link I posted). So this section of the site is not visible to some?

      This is how I navigate to the LEs (left) and Muses (right) in my browser, if it's any use:

    18. Wow! Now I know the issue! Shit! I always use Safari or Firefox, because I have got a MacBook... Never Seen half of the dolls! I am so happy, this thread is existing, coz without you I would never know, that there are different body shapes or a girl with elf ears and really adore elves. Thanks to everybody here!
      Hopefully, my Mom allows me to try her IE to see all the Rosette dolls, when I am back bombe ;)

    19. Hm, maybe my Firefox version is outdated (version 29.0), I'll try updating it, maybe it helps.
      EDIT: Nah, Version 31.0 and it still looks the same...
      Momiji, you're saying you use Firefox, which version is it? Maybe some plugins don't work properly on mine :(
      The pictures you showed are what I see with IE, when I use Firefox it looks like this:
      (It's the "body&parts" section and the "eng" version of the homepage)

      So basically all the subcategories are missing, "Muse", "Parts", "Limited Edition" etc...
      Ah, and I mixed something up, the "recommend" section shows up under "shop", like you said Momiji.
      Anyway, I'm kind of sad that I missed the Violet Daydream Angel fullset, she looks so pretty. Maybe they'll release another LE sometime this year ^^

    20. MuhKuh woah, that would present a bit of a problem in finding the girls, I had no idea o_o
      Right now I am using Firefox 31.0 too, though the site has worked fine on previous versions over the past couple of years as well.

      Ahh what a bummer you just missed LE Violet >_< I hope there are more LEs to come too. (And there just might, with the increased attention Soom is suddenly giving the Rosette line lately ^^ )
