Question for 51 Ath body owners.

Has anyone put jointed hands on their male dolls? If so, which ones did you find fitted the best and were close enough skin matches?

Also any advice on getting hips to be less floppy. I'm going to restring him and suede him but is there anything else I can do or will he need a very supportive pair of underwear?

 

Does anyone have the corset bust? I'm on the fence. On the one hand, I love putting my doll in corset so seems like a good investment, but on the other hand, I don't like going through the effort of switching bust parts and her normal bust part is already really nice so is it necessary to get the corset bust?

Hello everyone and happy new year!

I'm so exited to join you guys here, I ordered MSD Juliete in peach with a face up type C and the wig she has on a photo. It's the first time I actually liked the doll so much with a company look that i couldn't resist.

It's the first time I have an MSD doll at all, i have two girls and they are SD. What sort of eyes do you have for your girls? I guess they have to be 8 mm?

 

@Onkani Grats to your order, good decision! I use 6mm eyes from BlueberryStyle on Etsy for my girls - it´s of course a matter of taste. Small iris versus slight gapping on the sides. But it´s so slight it´s hardly visible, only if you look real hard. But I really can´t stand big irises. That´s my grief with all the Sartoria and Iple dolls - the eyes are supersmall even with the EIDs and such. And there are too few eye manufactorers who make bigger eyes with smaller irises.

 

Guys, I need to share my frustration here. I will have to wait a lot longer for my Lobelia to arrive.

It seems my package was misguided to the USA instead of Germany. I can track the package via USPS and it turns out, there's a place in Cleveland, Ohio that has the same postal code as my hometown in Germany. The package is out for delivery today..
So, since they can't deliver it to an address, that doesn't exist, it will probably be returned to the sender, SartoriaJ. Which means, more waiting.

I'm really wondering, how that happened. Either someone at EMS can't read or SartoriaJ didn't put the country of destination on the package (which I highly doubt).

Did anyone receive their fog gray dolls yet? At least I could look at some pretty pictures.

Ouch! I feel your pain! Had that happen to me with a doll head from the UK, went to the US instead of Germany. I was lucky though, the post office workers in the US finally noticed the mistake after sending it a bit across the country and then sent it directly to my adress. I hope it works all out for you, either that you or SartoriaJ will get it.

 

Thank you! As of now, the package could not be delivered, as expected and is being returned to the sender. Maybe someone somewhere will finally notice the mistake, but I doubt that, since it already went through customs in Chicago without anyone noticing it. I'm guessing it will go back to SartoriaJ.

 

Amadiel, oh no! That's such a shame! Perhaps you should let Jay know on Q&A that tracking shows it's on the way back to them, having tried to be delivered in the wrong country!!! How could the postal services even do that? That's incredible I do so hope she arrives with you safely and quickly, very soon!

Does anyone know if FID man hands fit ok on SartoriaJ athletic bodies? I desperately need my guy to hold a sword !

 

My fog grey Lobelia arrived today and she is truly beautiful Rather loosely stringed, but there are worse things. I really like her face, I wasn´t sure of that before - I chose her cause I wanted a fog grey girl under all circumstances and she was the mold that fitted best ^^ Next week she will be sent to my face up artist, together with my grey Raccoon Fenris, who will be her partner. Very excited to see the final result then!

 

My fog gray Jude arrived today. I got both the elf and human heads. The human head was on the body, so pictures of him first. I got him painted with the Elf Dominic face up and I'm super pleased with how he turned out. Both heads are gorgeous!! And for those interested, his resin is very close in color to the current Iplehouse gray. I have comparison pics on my Flickr album if anyone wants to see.

Oh, wow, he looks fantastic!

 

Wow. He looks gorgeous and it's really interesting to see a Jude with a different faceup. Definitely confirms to me that I really love the sculpt and not just the faceup.
