Both face ups are gorgeous!! The Elf Jude looks just like his promos. I got the fog Dominic's too in both human and Elf versions. It will be interesting to see the elf Dominic face up on Dominic compared with the same face up on Jude. The Dominic's haven't shipped out yet though.

Playing with Joran a bit more to see what look I like best for him. I had gotten a couple of Leekeworld wigs in size 6/7 to see how they would work for him as his head is slightly bigger than my Iple guys and I didn't want him to stretch out their wigs. This one actually fits him better than the 5/6 Monique's I have. I can't decide if I like this one or the gray wig on him better.

@JinCIncy Wow. What beautiful eyes, are those default SartoriaJ eyes or did you get them somewhere else.

I'm also having a similar problem with my Jarrad. Got him, love him, cannot for the life of me figure out what I want to put on his head and I don't want to buy multiple wigs before I'm sure. I also want to redo at least some of his faceup to get rid of the facial hair which read more 'messy toddler who ate chocolate' than actual facial hair. So I'm also debating whether wiping him would help me decide what wig I want to put on him or not.

 

Thanks @Crissaegrim . SartoriaJ don't come with any eyes, but I did buy these oval glass eyes from SartoriaJ. I have Jarrad coming. I ordered him at the holiday sale. Good to know he has a bigger noggin too.

No, I have been so enamored with the human version I haven't put the elf head on the body yet. The elf face up looks just like the promos did though. He's beautiful too. I'll share him as soon as I put him on the body and take some photos.

Playing around with my fog gray Elf Jude head today............trying to figure out his look, so I did a collage of both looks I've tried with him. I can't decide which direction I want to go with him. He's very handsome though either way!

I saw someone with one of the SD sized elf Dominic's in a white wig with yellow eyes and suddenly I couldn't stop myself from transforming my own elf Dominic into a Witcher.

I made the wig and overall I'm happy with how it came out, although its a bit short and could use some hair gel to keep the front bits looking more clumpy and less wispy. I hope to 3D print him some hands for holding a sword next....I don't think I'll even try to color match, I'll paint them black and put a big cuff on them haha.

Just a fun shot of all my Jude's together in collage form. I guess I have a bit of an obsession with this sculpt. The head with the LeStat face up in the bottom left corner was the head released to fit on the Iple bodies back before SJ started producing their own bodies. His head easily fits into my 5/6 wigs. When SJ started producing their own bodies, they must have enlarged the heads slightly to fit them. The dolls on the SJ bodies have heads that are a more firm 6, and they all wear 6/7 wigs for the most part. My 5/6 wigs I tried on them popped right off, or if I got them to fit they were then stretched out. Anyway, just thought it was interesting to see them all together in one photos to see how different they all are even if they are the same sculpt.

@nancy_schroeder_ca , he's my favorite SJ sculpt, and right up there as one of my very favorite BJD males sculpts.

@JinCIncy Now I'm wishing I had ordered a gray one!

 

I'm loving the gray! Jay has told me they would be releasing another fantasy color this summer, and he/she? (can anyone confirm if Jay is a man or woman?) has not decided if it will be a slightly different shade of gray or a different color altogether. It will be interesting to see what they choose. This fog gray is very close to Iple's current gray tone.

 

It looks like a light gray in pictures. I am looking for a light gray that will match an old D-Storic head I accidentally ordered in gray.

 

@nancy_schroeder_ca yes it is a very light gray. A shade or two lighter than Raccoon Doll's gray. I really like it a lot and am surprised how well it blends with the blonde shades

@JinCIncy Your Jude is SO stunning! The Monique wig looks good on him. Why oh why had they to retire! Another fantasy color sounds like doom for my wallet ...
I got a RaccoonDoll Fenris in grey as a partner for my fog grey Lobelia, the skin tone is much darker. They are both away for face ups right now, I will post a picture when they are back.
Hmm, I guess it would be terribly impolite just to ask Jay about his/her gender, wouldn´t it?
