I'm really digging the white albino-like faceup on Elf Juliet, which might also look wonderful on grey skin. Sadly her ears are not for me, so I'll have to pass on her. The Oreades set on the other hand...

 

I have the same strong feeling with @Amadiel regarding the albino faceup, which looks wonderful and I now starting to hesitate if I should go ahead order her now or maybe wait a little bit with the summer limited skintone. A few persons have mentioned their desire regarding a purple-is gray skin which I believe would suit her well. I LOVE elves but never had enough courage to make that decision

EDIT: so Elf Juliet was releasing this time only into MSD size, I wonder if they will release her into SD size as well in the nearly future. Also Jay said they don't have any plan on re-releasing Jenice and Jun this year again which sounds really sad

 

Oh thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of getting one.

 

@Bren Jay confirmed via Insta that this time is only for MSD elf Juliet to be released, but!! SD version will be releasing in the new summer limited skintone!!! Okay…decisions decisions decisions

 

Thank you. I need MSD size girls and I really like this girl. The boys has outnumbered the girls and I'm not sure how that came about. It's tough when you can't decided which size. I had that problem with SD ELF Jude and MSD elf Jude. I ended up getting both.

 

@Bren It's been a while since I'm thinking of the possibility to switch my crew (well most of my crew) into fashion size from the normal skin size in order to help me saving on storage. So I'm selling my SD Joshua with split option to see which solution could be better for the moment. If someone's interested in his body only, I will simply buy him a 73 zeus body and probably going to stay in SD size, if he ended up to be sold entirely, I may consider that as a sign to move on fashion size... Let's see how this will turn out lol

btw, the more I looked at Albino faceup Elf juliet the more difficulties I have on controlling my finger away from the buy bottom

 

At least Matias will be released as MSD some time this year

 

IMPORTANT!!! Hey everyone, have you seen the announcement about Discontinued dolls? Just got it via email. Some of the favourites will be sold for the last time between tomorrow (15th) and 24th April!!! "This is a permanent decision". So if there are any 51 or 45 size sculpts you need, like Naomi or even Jude, you'd better get ready to make a decision. Familiar sculpts of 61, 73 and 71 are also affected.

I thought it was strange, I'd put Yu 45Aph in my cart a couple of days ago, but today she wasn't available. I still need to get her, Jude 51Ath and even Serena 45, who I thought would always be there. SJ are so brilliant with their innovation and creating new dolls for us aren't they and I guess they need to make room for more new gorgeous sculpts

 

Oh, wow! I'm glad I ordered my Naomi, but I'm sad that this means I'm never going to get a Yu . Also, if I understand correctly, new sculpts will only be offered once and then never again?

 

Weilansen, yes that's how I read it too It's gonna be "seat of the pants" stuff for making crucial dolly decisions when a new release comes out!!

With deep regrets of not jumping in to get a Fog Grey, I don't think I'm going to be good at making such quick (ok, they usually give us a few weeks for a new release?) decisions..

 

I guess this means I'm going to have to start saving in case they release another sculpt I fancy, since I'll only have one chance to get it!

 

I also think that it's such a very short time they gave us as last chance to buy those soon discontinued dolls..Well, time to re-organize my dolly plan now...

 

Oh my, I can't believe they put Jude on that list. I always thought he was their most popular male sculpt... There go my plans for a future fog gray Elf Jude.

 

As someone who has just been lurking around and biding their time about eventually getting a 45Aph Sienna, the discontinuation news popping out of the blue was very bad. I just wish they gave their customers either more advance notice or just slightly more time for the ordering period (some paychecks do not arrive until the end of the month).

 

Anyone know why some of the dolls on the discontinuation sale list, that are supposed to be on sale through the 24th if I read the announcement right are now showing sold out? Mini Vittoria is listed as to be discontinued, but she isn't available for sale now? Ditto 45cm Sienna? And Zakary on the male 52cm side.

 

JinCincy, they are available now with Discontinued on their picture. I guess it took a while for all the listings to be amended. I still can't believe Jude's being discontinued, there's no way I can get him right now.

 

I second that. He was always on top of my "soon to buy doll list". But I really can't afford him right now. Guess it will be second hand market for many of us.

 

I'm saddened by this as well. I really like Vittoria, but I like elf Juliet a bit more and certainly can't get both. For the boys I'm sad I'll probably miss out on Zachary, I really like how smirk but I feel like the buff body options just aren't right for him.

I'm still pretty torn about elf Juliet. I have a amber beige elf already so maybe warm ivory would be a good choice. Like if she's pale and dark makeup maybe she would be sort of goth? I don't have a pale goth elf (lol running out of excuses to add elf's I have so many )

 

I can't believe they are discontinuing Jude either! I do have him in the fog gray as well as the amber beige, and I have the original head only they did before they released their own bodies, but he's one I could have in every resin color and not be bored with. LOVE his sculpt. I wonder if they will use the Elf Jude sculpt for the summer alternate resin color release?

 

I agree that they are discontinuing some favorite sculpts! I have six Jude heads! But I almost added the fog grey one. Now I wish I had. I had been considering a Yu but I don't know if I can buy another doll right now. I just ordered the elf Juliet.
