1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Sculpt design issues

Feb 2, 2023

    1. One thing that makes me instantly turn away from a doll body is this sculptor habit of giving so many dolls severe lordosis of the spine. That is the steep pelvic tilt forward so sharply that the butt sticks out in back in an "aesthetic" way.

It's a peeve of mine because typically-formed and fit people do NOT stand like that. It isn't how the body is technically meant to function, it's bad for your movement and quite painful, and usually treated as a medical/physical condition. It's something I keep having to fight myself due to other health problems and the eternal battle soured me against having to put up with it in my dolls. It's just not Sexy to me, it hurts.

    2. My Luts Senior Delf girls (Type 2-4)

I love them aesthetically, but they are the worst posers out of my whole crew. Some of the design decisions Luts make with them (mainly being their arm joints) really has me scratching my head. But I still love them and sadly their newer bodies wouldn't really match my aesthetic.
