Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases.     1. I have one set of twins! Adding another set of CP El twins to this thread XD; One is a normal El and one is a Dreaming El that I modded. They are identical twins but I needed the Dreaming El head to do the mods I needed specifically for that character. So, they may not look as identical now but they really are I swear :sweat

      I will have to reiterate what Harlequin-Elle said because El's are just perfect for twins! :D

    2. I currently have two "old suntanned" Angell Studio fellows as twins, an ASH (SP) event head with elf ears being modded on and a Gavin with his fangs modded away...ASH to me looks like a Gavin with a closed mouth and slightly squintier eyes. I think once they have the same hair and similar eyes and faceups, they'll really come together and look very similar~ :)

      I also have an Alk/Yrie set of twins ordered...technically they're the same sculpt, so I think they might have subtle differences in their faceups to make them individual (and one more feminine of course). ^_^

    4. I have one pair of fraternal twins who are two sculpts from the same company, Bluefairy, that share a lot of similar facial features. May and Somang have a similar overall face shape, the same nose, and eyes that are close to the same shape. May has a distinctly more pouty mouth and Somang is smiling. It works for both of them to show they are related but not identical. They both have green eyes of two different shades. One's black haired and one's blonde. If they had been identical, I would have gotten two of the same sculpt.

      For any familial relationship between dolls, I work to find consistent features across sculpts. This has worked out to all of my dolls from a family being almost always from the same company because it's easier to find that commonality that way. My Kun and Maki share the same droopy eyed looked with their Cristal father, and my Bianka has the same pointy ski slope nose as her Peroth father.

    5. I have the same sculpt, just one is an elf and the other human, for my boy and girl. Matthias (Matti) is a CP/Luts Elf Ttori and Lokya is a CP/Luts Ttori.

      Lokya is on a Fairyland MNF body, and I wish I had the courage to mod her neck to make it fit the Kid-delf head better. Matti is 100% Kid Delf.

      They are more or less identical, except one is a full-blooded elf and the other only half, and their eye colors are different.

    6. I'm planning 2 sets of BID boy-girl twins, Aki in real skin and Serca in light brown. Serca kind of reminds be of my son when he was young which is why I fell in love with that sculpt. And I just think Aki is adorable. :) I tend to buy in pairs or with pairs planned for the future, so that each doll has another doll that they're connected to in some way.

    8. I have two sets of identical twins. Toshi and Itsuki are both open eyed NS Delf Els (type 2 and 1). Tatsuya and Tetsuya are regular open eye ns Delf Yders (Type 1 and 2).

      A friend and I had fraternal twins (LTF El and LTF Lishe) but they've both been sold.

    9. I have Cinnamon and Tempest my two Leeke Mikhailas -- one is pure rose skin and the other one is snow skin. I was originally going to make them cousins, but then settled on siblings, which makes the most sense really. I just loved the sculpt, and when they came out with the second release decided to get another in a different skin tone. So far they are the only repeated sculpts in my group.

    10. I have twins, and I have six-lets. The type of "twins/whatever-lets" are same-company molds, not necessarily same mold.

      Six-lets, composing of remi/colin(Same mold) in Tenshi/boy/girl bodies.
      The accidental triplets, Little Alice x2 + Little Lorina (originally was 1 of each),
      Same mold, open/closed eyed difference are my White Rabbits.

      Different but very similar molds, F-16/Sasha/SchoolA Triplets. I do plan on dividing them up into twins by taking the F-16/Sasha and get a school A SwD to go with the School A.

      Completely different molds, but my friends and I kept switching their names because they were "similar" and they settled down as twins, are my Michele and Kaelin.

      Plans for twins are endless, but at this time this is what mine is like right now.

    11. I'm getting twins! They will be boy-girl twins, comprised of a Soom Dia and a Dollchateau Cyril. They aren't the first set of twins that would pop into your head, but they have enough similarities to satisfy me; square-ish jaws, pouty lips, narrowed eyes. The characters aren't meant to be identical or anything, and Malakai, (the boy) is meant to look anorexic because he is..anorexic...he is a troubled soul *nods* I am going to be doing some mods to one or both of them though I think...some nose-reshaping to make them truly perfect for my characters :)

    12. I have a pair of identical twins (Dollmore Kid Calvin) who look very much alike, but though I have never tried to make them into different characters, they turned out to be different enough by themselves, like human twins. This is amazing...
      I also never thought of a possibility to buy different molds from different companies for twins, but just yesterday I saw a picture of IslandDoll Ivy and she looks so much alike my Angell Studio Vera (The only difference is that Ivy has a little smile on her face) that I think they would make a perfect set of identical twins.

    14. I have two sets of twins now. :aheartbea

      First set are Ringdoll Rebecca twins, whom I've given almost identical faceups to. Thought their mold is the same, one is in white skin and the other in normal skin. They have different color hair too, though they wear it in the same style. Their personalities are different too, though they aren't opposite, more like complimentary. :)

      Second set are Ringdoll Petter twins. These two are identical in every way, so much so that until I pick one up I almost can't tell them apart. (One creaks when he poses, while the other is silent) They were bought as fullsets so they are dressed the same too. Personality wise they are only slightly different. Only slightly. ;)

      Now, as for choosing the molds I did...really it was just coincidence that both sets of twins are from Ringdoll. I also have two Dollzone Yuu's, but they aren't twins. And I have another Yuu coming in tan who will be totally unrelated to the other two Yuu's. Lets just say that faceup and wig go a long way in making a doll look similar or dissimilar to other dolls. :)

    15. I have LutsDelf - Soony and Shiwoo as my twins. Since their boy/girl twins i didnt want them to be exactly the same. Soony face is a little more round than Shiwoo and Shiwoo eyes are just the littlest bit more narrow. But despite their diferences everyone can see that i was going for a twin theme with them.

    16. I use to have a Bluefairy Jasmine who was the twin of my BBB Mei.I`ve since then sold her because she wasn`t fit for the character , but I am planning on replacing her with an Iplehouse Amy . So for me it`s different sculpts from different companies for now . But I would love to one day own Zaoll twins( a luv and a ramie possibly )

    17. I was planning on eventually getting a DZ Fei for my DZ Fei girl's twin brother. Lately, I've been wondering though if I should get a DZ MO or DZ Megi instead. I have time to decide, but I seriously can't decide. xD

    18. Haiiro and I are planning to get a DoD Ivan and Kirill as twins. ^^ Mine will be the Ivan. The characters are identical, but we thought the sculpts were just different enough so as to illustrate the differences in personality... Ivan looks a lot softer and gentler, whereas Kirill's face is a little less sweet. :)

    19. If I ever get twins, mine will definitely be Kirill and Ivan from Dream of Doll. I loooooove the slight differences in their faces, plus they're really cute! That or I'd get a twin for my incoming Souldoll by just ordering a different sculpt!

If I ever were to own twin dolls (which I think falls into the "if I won the lottery" category) I could easily see myself buying a Bluefairy Patrick girl and Bluefairy Olive boy as fraternal twins. I've also toyed with the idea of buying Bluefairy Andy and Paul as twins (probably to justify my love and want of both despite their similarities) I've just never been able to decide what gender they'd be and it always ends up with me wanting to buy two of each. I think my least likely candidates for a twins purchase would also be Peakswood Lady Bee and Kid Delf Ani as (again) fraternal twins.
