I'm excited because SecretDoll just released Person dolls on a new body! It's been a while since they last released any person dolls! I just ordered the narrow eyed person21, which is probably my favorite person doll head so I'm psyched! I only got the nude doll rather than the full set though because it was an unplanned purchase and I didn't want to blow the bank, lol. I was tempted to go tan, but stuck with the pale skin tone version. It looks like the head size is the same, but the new "long body" is 27cm tall. The body looks a lot slimmer than a standard 1/6 though so I'm not sure what will fit. It might *fingers crossed* fit some of my play line doll clothes. I thought they might be able to wear Blythe clothes but the long body measurements are a little thicker/broader shouldered than Blythe, so Blythe clothes probably won't fit unless they were really loose outfits.
Thanks for this update! Periodically I pop into the SecretDoll website to see what's new, but hadn't done so for several weeks now. Not that I need to be tempted, but... I'm torn, though, as to whether I like the taller body. The shorter body was what made them delightfully quirky, but I can understand the company wanting to do something different, too. Hmmmmm...
I think I like both bodies. The tiny ones are just so cute and the long body has this sort of coltish awkward adolescent charm to it. I think it'd be fun to get the same doll in both sizes, and then have like character and mini-me chibi version. XD
Secretdoll has the option now to just buy the Long body. I want to get one for my Person21 Narrow eyes but the ordering process is a bit confusing. On the order check out page it says for oversea customers to email them to order. Do you email them first and then fill out the form? Some of the drop down options are not in English and I don't want to pick the wrong option. Any advice please?
(sorry for the double post) I was able to email Secretdoll to help me order the long body for my Noodle. It took about 6 weeks after ordering to receive the body. Noodle's head is a bit yellowed since she is older. The long body has a nice pink tone to it. I think the difference not that noticeable.
@SeriousBunny , very cute and I like the look, thank goodness, because I just ordered a Person 21 long body myself! I have a lot of Mongs and Mini Mongs from Secretdoll but only admired the Picture Dolls from afar. Was just browsing, saw the new cuties and decided to go for it. I guess the size doesn't really matter that much because she won't fit in with my other dolls anyway, except the anthros.
I hope that anybody can help me: I lost the lower magnet from my Secretdoll head cap. Anybody knows the size so I can replace it?
