Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Its also the name of a place.. and an orange (as in the fruit) . I always think of the orange when I hear that name.

      Looks like he has two thigh peices - that must be for the better sitting position.

    2. the bottome part of the thigh looks like it can rotate allowing you to move the legs in that position. =o

      I always thought Valencia as a girly name.. XD He's really hot though.. If I were interested in getting a boy, that would be him! I think Freyja may be my next girl. @_@ (I can't decide between her, Ismy or Narae! eep)

      I'm really in love with little Freyja. I think I'll have to get one eventually. She'd be so cute with my Narae on the way, an adorable little sister! I wonder if she could fit into Marley Wentworth clothes... (and the alice too?!)

    6. Well the NEW girl has a none jointed waist her body picture is up. The new boy we don't know what his body will be like. I just realized that the Ismy boy already has a none waist jointed body. I hope they resculpt it though as I am not a fan of it. I think they are sculpting a new one though or they would have just linked to the Ismy boy!

    7. i like the one joint body.. except its lack of posibility and the fact his pecs seem really high up on the sculpt. And his shoulders are very slim..

    8. If you read my first post you will see that the girl Ismy has a joint in the body yet its very stiff and hardly moves at all! so the added joint isn't adding posibility unless they improve it. Yes I hope they fix all the issues I agree with your comments. I also don't like the large hips and legs seem to female.

    10. Yes its matching the skin color too though. This is why I am hoping Valencia has a totally new body sculpt. The exact same body type works great for the little 5 year old though! The new serendipity is like a white doll with a pink hint.

    12. I have an Ismy which I named Brynn. Yes, the torso joint is sort of stiff but my girl can be twisted to either side. Ismy has threefold elbows, and twofold thighs & knees. Now these new Serendipity dolls, Freyja & Valencia, have threefold elbows, thighs AND knees. Really nice! Now if only Seredipity would make a big girl with these joints.

Interesting!! well you know I just found out something about my girl because I was never able to figure out what the meant by the threefold elbow joint as my girl could only bend her elbow like a normal ball jointed doll!! I just checked out your pictures and see the extended elbow joint. Now my girls won't work unless I pull on the arm which pulls the piece out of the upper arm hold and then pull the arm forward and up which enable the joint to move out and work!!

      So infact I just found I can now move my girls arm up but it doesn't work very well! does yours? If she has long sleeves on it would be much harder to pose the arm all the way folded.

      My girl doesn't move side to side at the body joint I guess she is tightly strung.

      Top THIGH joint! I also didn't know about that either, I wondered why the doll in the promo posed with her leg so high. Again the joined is hidden inside and I have to pull the leg and then move it up to get it to work.

      Is it the same with you?

      LOL I have a feeling I am not the only one that couldn't find these things!

      I am glad you are finding out about these joints from my post. Actually, I hadn't noticed how cool the threefold elbow joint was until just yesterday! I had not really played with her much and only started looking at her joints more carefully after seeing the pics of the joints on the newer Serendipity dolls.

      And yes, you need to pull the elbow joint out first and then position the arm folded up. That is the same as what I do with my Brynn.

      As for the torso joint, I can turn my Brynn's torso around backwards if I want. It was stiff the first time or two I tried turning her, but now is fine. But you need to sort of lift up on the upper torso as you are turning it. Try that and see if you can't twist your girl.

      Now the top thigh joint I had known about. I could see how that functioned from pics. I knew it rotated which is very helpful in posing. And I could see that her leg could pull away from it too (from the promo pics showing her joints). And yep, it works as you said.

      You asked me in a PM if I would get one of the new Serendipity dolls. Honestly, I would love to have one and I do favor Valencia over Freyja BUT I think I shall give Serendipity some time and see if they come up with a BIG girl with these cool joints! That is what I REALLY WANT. I love the bigger sized BJD the most, as I like to sew for them. The smaller girls are harder for me to sew for, and it is just not as enjoyable for me.
