1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Shoes for Diana 16 Fashion Maxi

Jul 20, 2022

    1. I've recently bought a Diana 16 Fashion Maxi (38cm), and I'm happily getting her dolled up with wigs and clothes (I'm even taking my first steps at sewing thanks to @solinvictus advice :D), but I'm having real trouble with finding shoes for her.

She has feet that are bigger than any of the fashion bjd's out there, but smaller than regular MSD dolls, so I have been looking and trying shoes without much success. So far, I've found a pair of high heel pumps on Aliexpress that fit her pretty well:

Other than this, I have a pair of booties that the previous owner sent me and kinda fit, but look enourmous on her feet. I also would like to find some kind of cute flat shoes or sneakers for her flat feet (I've already lost hope of finding anything for her ballet feet).

Please, if anybody has any recommendations, or knows where to get shoes for her that fit, let me know. Help me get my dollie pretty shoes!:celebrate

    4. aah she's lovely - Is that dress made by you? Love the 50s vibe! Struggle with shoes is unfortunately a price for having a uniquely-sized doll - I hope you find some good ones... or maybe make them yourself?;)

    5. Yes, shoes are hard to come by for Dollshe Fashion feet. Can you post a pic of the high heels on Diana's feet? I'm sure many on DOA would be curious to see.

      I too love that dress.

    6. Yes! I made it myself with a pattern I bought from the Etsy store you recommended, DGRequiem. It was easy enough to do that even an absolute noob like myself could figure out how to make it (more or less, lol) :celebrate

As for make them myself... omg, I wouldn't even know where to start! besides, I'm already busy enough learning how to make wigs and dresses :XD:

Although I've seen some videos about making ballet slippers that seem interesting??? I'm about to get into shoemaking, too, aren't I lol

Thank you, it's the very first time I've sewn a dress (or anything, really) and I'm quite happy with the result, even if it's a little wonky. If somebody had told me when I first thought of buying a bjd that I would end up learning how to make wigs and sewing dresses, I would've thought they were pulling my leg, lol :XD:

Here are some pics of the shoes:

    9. A small update! :XD:

I found a seller on Etsy, sumomo82, that makes cute flat shoes for Minifee dolls. I ordered a pair because they were very affordable, and they actually fit pretty well! They’re a little wide, but beggars can’t be choosers, right?

I can also report that these same shoes fit my msd SartoriaJ doll like a glove, so it’s a win-win for me :D
