Shoes - how many pairs do your dolls have?

I have 2 1/2 pairs at the moment. I have two rascally kitties that somehow decided one of my doll's shoes was a plaything to be batted around (don't worry, the shoes were off my girl's feet at the time, lol). Quite frankly I have a bit of a shoe crisis at the moment, because I am getting a pre-loved MSD as soon as I pay her off, and my 3 other dolls are 2 YOSD and 1 Lati Yellow. They each have a pair of shoes (as soon as I find that one missing shoe). But they don't necessarily match up with the outfits ideally. So I got lots of buying to do!

JennyNemesis, you crack me up! You are right, either you love shoes to death, or you just use them to cover bare feet. I think that I may lean towards the love them side, because, depending on the outfit, shoes are an essential part of the look. However, I don't think I will be owning more than one pair per outfit

Update: I found the other shoe downstairs from where it was, so my guess was right! I have 2 very playful Kitties! I officially have 3 pairs again!

 

2! I think if I found the perfect pair of boots for her I would just have one pair to be honest (a bit like me )

 

OMG my dolls have between 1-3 pairs each but they have such differing styles and three of my dolls like to share shoes so they often flip flop shoes borrowing for differing outfits and such. I don't own many of my own shoes for me personally so I think I like getting shoes for them because I just love the styles that i could never wear without falling. I love clothing for my dolls too and need to have shoes to go with the outfit if they are into that kind of thing in their character if they aren't soo much then they have like one pair of nice stompy boots. Ideally I would love to have a huge closest full of dollie shoes and clothing but realistically probably a few pairs for each doll that i have (I have a 11).

 

....I should be ashamed to admit how many pairs they have. *thinks* I always have at least one pair for each doll and mine tend to wear shoes all the time.

This is probably a low estimate, but I think there's easily 75 pairs of doll shoes in my doll room. T-T

I own ten dolls. They all have one fitting pair of shoes and two SD girls share some not really good fitting shoes when I want them to wear different ones.

Clothing is more important. One pair works for several outfits because they don't change their style so much.

I almost never change them.

I usually get shoes that will match with any outfit! For conveniences sake, mostly. I do things similarly IRL, where I’ll just wear one pair of shoes no matter what I wear ahha.

As many as the owner wants/can afford!

 

I have never really counted their shoes but I know they have a lot. Between MSD and SD they have more shoes than I do. If I buy them a new outfit I will usually buy a new pair of shoes to go wih it.

3 43cm dolls = 6 shoes.
2 20cm range dolls = 3 pairs of shoes.
1 16cm = 0 since she is an anthro

So 9 pair of shoes all together.

I try to be universal in getting shoes that match multiple outfits instead of ordering additional pair just for one outfit.

Not often. Usually when I change the outfit I sometimes change the shoes, but usually I keep the same pair on, if it looks good with the outfit.

Hmm I think hundred pairs of ridicules for one doll, but owning couple of the same doll that wears the same size then I can see maybe a lot.

2 pairs until I change her character and now has one pair that is big on her xP until I get her the shoes I want for her outfit.

They're important but not as much as their clothes, one pair will work for several outfits, I myself don't see the need for many shoes and only own two pairs so my doll will not have tons of shoes either

she'll probably only change shoes when she changes to a different color outfit

no more than 5 (unless they're limited shoes that come as part of an outfit, in that case 6-7 is acceptable)

I love shoes...especially boots!!! Shoes are more important to me than clothing. I have more shoes than outfits but some shoes just don't go with anything lol.

I think each doll should have 5 pairs of their own shoes.

70 cm Boy -- one doll, one pair (came with his full set)
SD Girl -- one doll, 5 pair
MSD -- two girls, 2 pairs (both pairs gifts)
YoSd -- one girl, one boy -- 2 pair girl shoes, no boy shoes

Ugh. I have tons of clothing and very few pairs of shoes that match. All but one pair have been either from Fukuruboro bags from DH, gifts or parts of full sets.

Almost never. I have no shoes.

NO clue.

She was barefoot for months.

not enough..lol, prob 5 or 6 but thy are specific types like heals or costume shoes, i need more general shoes like plain black or brown school shoes or just gym type shoes.

or what really want is bunny slippers, ....why dont they make make them

58cm SD girl - 2 pairs (the other one is on the way, i ordered it a month ago)

actually clothing is more important than shoes for me XD the reason why my boy has several pairs is bec those shoes are already included when i bought him. but for me, i think two pairs is enough for a doll =) one formal and one casual are okay =)

for my girl: none at all for now XD

58cm SD girl - 1 pair

 

So far l have 8 pairs of shoes and l will have 2 obitsu 60cm and one obitsu 45cm. I have to wate intill moka's body gets here so she can pick out what kind of shoes she want also some gos with the other 2 girls.

At the moment, I am only keeping one of three pairs of shoes that I own and I have two more on the way. I only have two guys, no fantasy/outrageous clothes, it pretty much breaks down to the standard amount of shoes a real guy would have plus shoes for their traditional outfits. They are also both 70cm dolls but their shoe sizes are different so they can't share but even if they were the same, neither one needs shoes like the other. Deidara has dress shoes, casual shoes, and geta, while Souji only needs dress shoes and waraji zori.

The shoes are just as important, is what I'd say. And lucky I only have guys because if I had a girl doll, their wardrobe of shoes will look like mine, about one pair of shoes per two outfits (maybe). As it is, since they're both guys, one pair of their shoes work for multiple outfits.

Only when I take them out actually. I'm thinking it's an Asian thing but when they're in the house, they don't wear shoes. xD

Depends. If it's a guy, about 3-5 and girls....as many as you can afford. LOL I believe shoes are an important part of an outfit. I'm not one of those crazys who loves shoes and loves to collect them and such, but I love clothes and when it comes down to it, you have to consider the shoes just as much as you need to consider your tops and bottoms.

Right now he has three but two of them are temporary; so he won't be barefoot when I take him out. His dress shoes are on the way and he has his geta. I'm not going to actively search for new casual shoes for him and I'll probably get it for him as a gift later because what he has is passable right now.

 

Right now I only have one... I did by a Dollzone msd set for my AOD msd Lan but everything was soooo small. So I had to buy her new shoes from ebay. She will have more eventually, but my SD boy needs shoes badly...
