Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum. Update Shutdowns in Shanghai

    1. I first noticed this on Alice's Collections website, which stated that all shipping and receiving has been halted due to a government-ordered shutdown due to a new wave of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections. ACBJD is posting a daily update of new cases in their city, and they told me via email that they believe the shutdown will end approximately two weeks after zero (0) new cases are reported. You can see their daily new case updates here.

      Per internet research, China is shutting down businesses in multiple cities, including Shanghai, which was shut down in two phases, as part of their "zero-Covid" policy. (CNBC link) (CBS link) (NPR link)

      If you are waiting on an order, you might want to find out if the company/artisan you are waiting on is Chinese, because if they are - you could be waiting a little longer.

    3. Alice's Collections just posted an update that the restrictions are easing and shipping will resume soon.

      Good news, after about 1 month of lockdown the restrictions are easing, we're back to work now and the shipping services are resuming in the coming few days too, we're doing our best to catch up the backlogged works and will do our best to ship orders asap.
