Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     2. Now if she has watery feet, rather than just a different blushed set of the same Nenad feet (they've changed the design of the wings so I could see them sticking with the same style feet), I will probably end up getting her.

      I say again that I wish the wings were actually that colour!
      Then people could get a totally blank doll and still get blue wings.
      I know right now that the faceup just isn't for me, but that I probably want blushing.. not sure that I can afford the blushing and sanding that becomes an essential when one chooses blushing... but want those wings the right colour!

      We shall see!

    3. I really hope the wings are actually blue; I am very mad that Nenad's wings are only blushed green. Hopefully Mixi will have clear resin feets instead of the Nenad type.

    4. I hope her wings are colored as well. They almost seem to be clear to me at the moment. But I love how they look like little waves, or water droplets so far :).

      I too was disappointed that Nenad's wings were not green, I got her with the blushing but I felt for the people who did not and were expecting it. I sure assumed they were green! Oh well, all I can do is sit and wait...impatiently. I've been mssing this waiting for Soom lately. It's been so quiet haha.

    5. I too felt really sorry for the people who didn't get blushing because they were under the impression that the wings were actually GREEN.
      Now in this case things might be different. People may have complained to Soom and they've actually made them blue this time.
      OR, blue is clearly something they know how to do as they've done it before with Cuprit's feet so they might have done it on their own, the probably just added extra sparkles and such with the blushing (as we thought Nenad was!)
      This time it really might be worth posting on the Q&A and asking directly if Mixi's (that name is never going to stop being ridiculous xD) what colour the wings are without blushing!

      Excited to see the feet and the rest of the outfit!
      As my Nenad is going to be Absynthe, it suddenly makes me want to create a series of ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES xDD

      Oh and can I just SHOOT Soom for saying they'd only be releasing a few fairies a year, then they go and release one the FOLLOWING MONTH!
      I was so looking forward to being safe from Soom until October!!!!

    6. *sigh* the more I think about how awesome her feet are and how cool the wings look the more I'm saddened I don't like her head sculpt. I want to run around the soom office with a target on my shirt that says "SOOM ME PLEASE!" It seems they're always so close to getting me but then something happens I'm not fond of. I wish these guys were popular enough for me to mix and match pieces ....

    8. I know what you mean! For me, because faceups are something I always order, they're really important to me and I always feel like Soom get really close to totally blowing me away, then they just ruin it at the last second with a neutral faceup and boring wig xD

      I was going to suggest though, perhaps you could search for a Nenad head to put on Mixi's body?
      You never know, someone right now might prefer Mixi and be happy to trade their Nenad head with yours!
      Or you could just get Mixi, split of the head, and wait for a head you DO like!

    9. Well, her face seems, I realized it at work, Betty Boopish to me in some way (block out the wig and you may see it), but sissy is taken with her, so I suspect she's going to have to come home somehow...drat. I haff no Christmas monies if she does however, eep!

    11. Well, I wasn't too fond of Nenad's head either *sigh* but compared to Mixi I like it better. I'm just going to wait and bide my time till the next one, and then maybe if more come out I can find the Mixi wings (and if they're super cool and I love them) legs on the market. I also really want a larger bust area too ;)

      So close!

      haha I saw the thread this morning and thought of you :aheartbea I'm glad at least on Soom Faery is coming close enough that I can see it :)

      I don't really care for Mixi's face as much as Nenad's but at the moment I am regretting buying Nenad so much I feel like I should buy Mixi just to make up for sitting that one out.

      Luckily I'm not financially stable enough for another dolly purchase at this time (er, I guess that's the silver lining anyways?) but if I was she would surely test my reserve! *_*

      Even without an amazing face sculpt, those wings are just cool enough to make the entire doll a tempting purchase!

    13. Twylight ...suddenly I get the feeling that for a while I may be getting nothing but Soom Minigems. Heavens, I knew I was vgoing to get one, though I always thought it would be Aren...now though...odds are I'll wait till near the end of the selling period...get her on layaway....and hope she doesn't get here till next year! And I mean faaaaaaaaaar next year. Then pray that they don't release another in between XD. ThoughIdowant4fairiesalltogether.

      Anneke XD I couldn't help that. It seems like they know what will get us...though I suppose they stuck to their word, they waited until the end of this month to release her.....though the end of the month arrived faster that I wanted it to.

    17. Does anyone know if Nenad really needs the sanding service done? I'm guessing Mixi will be similar, and if so I will probably order that along with her.

    18. I think a new faceup and a new wig are very much what the doctor ordered for this doll. But I will have to wait to see other pictures. The picture currently isn't very flattering of the sculpt. She might end up being more like a tiny fairy suiseiseki - large potential. Her current colorway reminds me of Kitara from Avatar-airbender :)

    20. I'd say if it is really going to bother you get it sanded. I have three Soom dolls unsanded (but my Nenad is not home yet) and they all have varying degrees of seams from smooth to pronounced on different parts of the same body.
