I'm betting, don't hold me to this, that they will put her up today. I agree Midnitestar7 they should have used silver's and blues. Which is what I'll have my friend use if I choose to get her. I like her face so far but I want to see more pictures. Otherwise, I should really wait for a air fae or darker fae...or even a fire fae. I would DIE over a fire baby.

If they were to do a boy faerie he should be like Puck or very Green man like with lots of leaves and possibly antlers or something. Otherwise...I hope they choose to stick with the girls.

 

To be honest i like her face-up and the wig, i don't like the foot, i was hoping for a normal toned fairy foot like nenad...
i had a topaz ones, i and was annoyed about her clear resin fairy foot as well, it just does look weird i think having clear feet...
the rest i love (well not the clothes, i can probably do better than that, i have already lots of patterns i can use for her...) and i think she would look wonderful with antennas as well, i know i saw some butterfly and insect bjd sets on ebay, they had antlers...
i don't have to make her a water sprite right, i can sell the feet on the marketplace and give her moth wings or wasp wings...or ...

Oooh! Mixi's sanding service is only $30 as opposed to Nenad's which was $80. Me likey! :p

I'm still not loving the faceup either...hmmm. I just want her to be released already so I can know if I want to buy her or another dollie! ;_; I should be more patient! :p

Edit: Well it is 2 am in Korea right now, so perhaps they will put her up at a more decent hour today?

 

She's really pretty, but I'd really like to see more pictures of her. The wings are really neat though.

 

I really like how they designed Mixi. Something was missing in Nenad for me. I actually like that they gave her more generic default it gives the owner more room for customizing.

Going all blue would have been a bit predictable and makes it harder to visualize your own customization imho

 

Yes, I'm really starting to like this doll. I also thought Nenad was beautiful, but this fairy's innocent, pretty face is really getting to me. I absolutely, positively love her brunette hair. She looks so classical and so classy with that look. I do hope it's not a trick of the lighting, and it turns out to be brown rather than dark blonde, though, given this doll is so magical, I'm not sure it could detract from her one iota!

Maybe the shape of it makes it work. It's a little mushroom-shaped, sort of reminding me of rain. What a great doll.

 

I mentioned this in my body comparisons photo thread, but I thought maybe I should give everyone a heads up here too - the new body is beautiful, but it has one major (to my mind anyway) posing flaw in that it can't sit up straight - you wind up with a serious backward lean pretty much no matter what you do. I asked Soom about this and they confirmed that it is just the way the body is. I'm going to try some experiments with wire or something to see if I can overcome this problem, but I just wanted to make sure in the meantime that everyone's aware of it, because Nenad's company photos were really pretty misleading on that front I thought. (I don't know how they managed to make her hold a bent-forward pose for some of those shots... it seems a little unfair!)

 

I've had the same issues with my SG girls but I found a way to (more or less) overcome it with my Onyx. The construction of the Super gem and Mini Gem bodies seems very similar from the photos I have seen. I hot glue sueded her thigh sockets with a thin hot glue strip and when she sits I pull out her leg and set it under her torso piece, for both legs. It doesn't work if you just try to sit her, you have to stretch out the legs first.

yea I'm sure with a bit of aid we can achieve a new sitting straight pose. But like I said in the comparison thread, i can work with her leaning back too. She'll probably be leaning against something most of the time for me XD

 

ladyroselie: Thanks for the idea - the Nenad legs are so lightweight that I'm not sure sueding alone will do the trick, but I'll certainly give it a try. I'll report back if I find something that works. (My dolls spend a lot of time sitting, so I would really like her to be able to sit too!)

 

Have you found that this head is more of a 3/4 or a 4/5 for wigs? I want to know what sort of shopping I have to do

She is very pretty, but I definitely think her faceup is underwhelming, and a much better job could have been done.

Ahh! She's released, but there is no BiWeekly outfit for her.

 

The bi weekly outfit took a little while longer to go up last time, so there might still be one!

I still can't get more than the first picture to load.
Her feet and wings KILL ME though, that much is for sure!

Edit : From what I can see so far, she's absolutely stunning except for her wig and faceup, which just don't do her justice.
I'm am doomed to get her either way xD
Just got to decide whether or not I'm going to split off her head and maybe body and do some crazy mix match between Nenad and Mixi, or just go for broke and get her with blushing but blank and try and stumble through an idea for the perfect faceup!

 

What a little darling she is! If there was money for her, she'd be coming home for certain. There's just not money with all the unexpectedly early home improvements and computer replacement woes. I wouldn't say I like her more than Nenad, but definitely just as much. Her fantasy parts are truly lovely, more graceful to my eye than Nenad's, though I like the greens better on Nenad. They balance out to be equally awesome for me.

 

Yeah I'm the same! There's things about her I love more than Nenad, but things about Nenad I love more.
Combination of the two of them would be STUNNING, and might be what I end up trying in the end xD

Yeah I think I've already talked myself into getting a fullset with sanding minus the faceup and wig.. OOPS.
Might wait until I can see her in person to make sure I'm totally sure I don't want the faceup and wig however.. just to be sure I'm not making a mistake!
I can JUST swing her price if that's what I go for, with just a little starving here and there xD
