1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    9. So excited to see everyone ordering and getting their dolls. As a Shoshon owner, I'm very glad to see a lot of people ordering him! He's easily my #1 sculpt so I hope people love him a lot, because I feel like he's totally underrated haha.

Here's to me wishing again they will bring out River again in human colours soon.

    10. I ran a split for tawny Shoshon. I’m taking the body (for a completely different head who has never been offered in tawny and will be matched), and jointed hands. I’m *really* hoping he’s a darker tawny because it sure seems like I’ve been seeing a lot of barely darker than normal batches.

    12. Popping in with a question - Do any of you ID75 owners also have a Ringdoll Grown 3 body for comparison? Most of my dolls are in the 60-65cm range and only one that's 70cm+. I know the head is bigger and that they're taller than the RDG3, but that's about it. I would appreciate any help.

That being said I really hoping for the stars to align and bring home an Idealian at some point.

    13. I don't own a RDG3 but the main difference between the <75cm bodies and the 75cm bodies is usually the shoulder width. The ID75s have a 19cm shoulder width which makes them really wide compared to the <75 bodies, and bumps them up a clothing size as well. You'll usually see the difference the most in the hips and shoulders in my opinion, that's where the biggest differences are.

The other thing to take in to account is weight. I've know a lot of people just can't get used to how heavy and big ID75s are and sell them because they find them too difficult to handle. They're base 3kg so they are a little hefty to handle and some people don't like this. I can't really say I know otherwise because I only own ID75s and it's never stopped me taking one bushwalking or hiking in a backpack either, but that's also just me lol.

Main takeaway is that they're heavy and wide compared to the smaller dolls and also the price of their clothes will make you cry but they're honestly the most gorgeous dolls so it's all worth it to me haha.

    14. Thanks @Setsura!

I definitely like the heft of the larger dolls so I'm not sure that weight/size is a deterrent. It'd also be a lie to say that the outfits for the ID75 don't play a part, pricey as they are. I'm a huge sucker for ridiculously detailed outfits and it seems like others create for ID75 in droves. Doesn't help at all that I'm a costume drama nut and there seems to be a lot of historic outfits more readily available for these guys.

    15. If you like historical outfits TaoBao is a great source for dolls from Popo68 to ID75 size. Most of the time these TaoBao shops dont charge any extra for ID75s, they're all just the same. But they do exist for the smaller body types as well.

That being said, ID75 is kinda like the 75cm body standard and you'd be hard pressed to find anything that doesn't come in this size as a standard. Which can be a blessing or a curse since money out the window with great outfits but also always spoilt for choice haha.

I dont know how posing is with Ringdolls, but keep in mind ID75s are also known to be pretty bad pose holders, and they also don't have an upper thigh joint. So if posing is a really big deal to you you can make it work with sueding and wiring but be prepared to know they don't stand that well. They're more of a sit pretty kind of doll.

    16. As far as the weight goes, ID75 are never a problem since they always want to wrap around my shoulder when I carry one and I’m old and arthritic!

And even though posing is a priority for me, these boys pose so pretty when sitting and lying that I don’t care about them standing!
