Soom Idealian : Gluino - Vampire Alchemist

Mmm, I'm very rarely tempted by Soom dolls, even less tempted by the idealians, and even LESS tempted by vampire dolls. However, this boy has hit me hard in the heart. The vampire face is to die for. This is a vampire that certainly does NOT sparkle. Rather than Lestat, he reminds me most of Constantine from the book Sunshine, though I regret I'm the only one around here who has probably read it.

I was about to pop down some mulla for DoD's new boy, but now I have to rethink everything.

 

I love me some vampires, and ahhhhhhhhh he is so handsome ahhhhhhhh ;___; I have to wait til I see the next MD though, and consider what I want to do. Lol I just today finished a big layaway, can I commit to another one? xD

He's divine...and he's also just blown all of my careful bjd budgeting straight to hell. That face is gorgeous - and that outfit! OMG. I even like the vampire faceplate, and I was totally prepared to hate it. Whhhhhhhy, Soom?!?

At first the Idealians didn't interest me at all, but they're starting to go in a direction I like with that vampire faceplate. I'm still safe from this guy, but if they ever come up with a more evil smexy looking guy, I'm doomed.

 

LEs are so dangerous for everyone's health, I swear. I have a friend who is doll friendly, but not a doll person herself, but she adores vampires. I continually send her links to vampire dolls because i am a enabling jerk.

She responded to my email about this handsome creature with simply: 'I hate you. Dammit'.

Hahah taunting! I am the best friend. I am waiting for her to crack and purchase a bjd. It'll happen.

Meanwhile, I am staring at this guy in interest. He's really on my DO WANT list. I will just have to see how things go.

 

Ah crap! I've been budgeting to buy a new computer but I may be tempted to go after this fellooooooow~! But I must must resist him, I'm too poor~ I haven't been this smitten by a face in a while, both the human and vampire version... I'll have to ban myself from looking at him somehow, or else I'm gonna be bankrupt...

Surreality, he looks right up your alley! I seem to remember (from the To L waiting room?) that you are all about the pale skin dolls.

This guy is gorgeous--both face plates-- and **almost** makes me regret my decision to not own cream skin dolls. Branon's gorgeous tan skin did me in, I'm afraid.

Did anyone else notice Gluino's 'antiidealian' is a werewolf? I guess we can expect one in the future. That would be interesting, I think.

big guy (my Dark is the first XD) I've seen in over 3 years.
The first picture of his human face.....oh my gosh...stunning.
But the timing is awful. Naturally. The first two Idealians did
nothing for me and I was hoping I would be repeatedly spared

If I commissioned a doll from Soom to suit my taste I doubt I could have come up with one much better than him! And he is CW! THANK YOU SOOM!!! Or is that 'Drat you Soom!!!' I have TOO MANY layaways and yet there is no way this side of Hades that boy isn't coming home with the outfit and all! I will let go of a few things for him, if I must. I'm not sure if I need the vampire face, but might get it anyway, just so he's complete. That outfit is divine and I love the boots!

Is the vampire face a bit thinner, or is that just an optical illusion because his mouth is open?

They're different in mouth and eyes area... >.> Maybe the chins are different, too. I wasn't into the old ID's vampire face, but this one... man. T.T Soom is definitely changing my taste in dolls lately.

 

Hmm... I liked the first Idealian's vamp face, but not the regular one. It reminded me too much of my sister, somehow.

But this guy, he's perfect either way.

 

Not too fond of his yellow nails though. But I understand
the reasoning "hands of the dead..." THIS is the problem
when you finally start loving your doll family.....trying to
figure out who to let go in order to bring in another one.

edit: can someone who has Branon tell me how his resin
feel-wise compares with Sooms other resins, it looks like
it would feel different.... I love that he's CW though!!

 

That's what I'm trying to figure out now, if I like the blushing or not. The nail color I don't like but I do love me a blushed body. Can imagine it will be a huge hassle and expensive to ship his body to get blushed later. But Soom and their yellow blushing...they do a lot of yellow.
