Yeah, that was some awfully whiny feedback to Soom... I don't see a problem with saying "Wow, I was really expecting a little crab and scorpion... I won't be purchasing the wolves, but if you make the crab or scorpion in the future, I'm there!" But to call them "awful" and say it looks like they have leprecy... there's a difference between disappointment and rudeness and I think a few of those comments definitely jumped that line. Me personally? I was excited for a little Scorpion and Crab... but, I think the little wolves with their little ragged ears are too cute! the only part I'm not overly fond of is the hand paws... but I consider that minor.
thank though too bad I love the poseablity in the littllefees *wanted the paws and leg part for a boy littlefee.*it be funny if they fitted he be a taller boy. How are the possiablity in these guys? I don't know if it's worth for me to get Skoll. if they don't pose that well. *pics don't tell you much*
Yeah, I'm not saying that people should either only praise Soom or keep their (virtual)mouths shut, but it's one thing to say "this doesn't appeal to me; I'm rather disappointed by how it turned out because it doesn't look realistic/wasn't what I had expected" and totally another to say something like "this totally suck, it's crap; I'm not buying it because it's ugly and looks diseased!" I mean, the latter is just rude and offensive and offers nothing for the company and sculptors to try to improve on, or even take into cosideration for future projects. And it makes the complainant look like a brat. D: On a less controversial topic...do Luts' HDF shoes fit Soom's Teeny Gems?? (Their current shoe and wig discount is fantastic!!! If these little guys can wear HDF shoes, I'm soooo ordering a pair. 8D)
I actually have fallen in love with little Hati. I think she is so cute with or without the wolf parts. I do have a question though being new to BJD's in general. I noticed on Sooms site it list body painting as an option. Does this mean to get the ears and wolf paws colored I have to chose this option when ordering? Thank you to anyone that know the answer.
Even though I do think the wording on that comment in the Soom site was too harsh, it made me realize what had been bothering me about the paws. This is just my opinion, but the way Soom blushed them (with a bluish tone fading into fleshtone), it kind of looks like the poor chibis got hit in the hands and they got swollen and bruised in the cartoonish kind of way. I think the lighting in the Photoshopped pictures may also be throwing the color off. I think the paws would probably look much cuter to me if they were fully blushed and the blushing went further up the arms and the legs (especially since there's fur molded on the leg pieces). So even though the comment could have been stated in a nicer way, as a result of reading it I can get past what was bothering me and appreciate these little chibis more Can't wait to see how people blush them in the future, as well as seeing owner pics of pre-blushed cuteness!
I'm Having the same problem only on if I want to by a Skoll or try and by a volks yo-sd linn off someone... TT_TT Linn's my dream tiny so far but this little skoll's face and ears... I love him I really don't like his paws on his hands but kind of like his paw feet.... but its such a hard choice...
They're cute, but I really really really hate those paws. They're so disproportionate and ugly. That little aspect turns me off those cute dolls.
I actually love the paws one of the few I guess... Sumi-chan: Ugh, tough decision >.< I hope you come to a conclusion soon. Is Volks yo-sd Linn limited? if not, maybe you should be best going for Skoll.
I find I really like their faces and their outfits and everything else they come with, like Hati's wonderful wig.. but yeah, those paws are amazingly ugly to me, and I really -really- want to like them because I love wolves. Funny thing is I thought I would be alone, I'm surprised to see that other people are finding issue with them. My mother however is in love with Hati and their paws, so I guess its all eye of the beholder.
Oh, Linn is a limited tiny from Volks... all of volks tinies are limited... I like the feet not the hand parts though on Skoll what I truely love about him is his face and ears. His lips are just gorgeous!

I also love the face and ears~ and that cute little mouth - I really like the mockup blushing you did Akkhima ^^ That's why I didn't choose body blushing on my order. I am going to try to do body blushing and faceup myself on my Hati I ordered!
Just popping in to let you know that I made it to the Soom store today for a makeup event, and Hati and Skoll WERE there! Got a bunch of photos and will put them up today, if people want to see! I told myself I wasn't going to get Hati.. but now I've seen her in person, it's BAD. They're SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok! Will post in a bit after lunch! Managed to grab one of the Glot heads from the makeup session and put her up next to Hati, so you can all see the difference between the 2 molds. (I know some thought they were the same).
