I think it was doll fatigue! Fell in love with a few one offs today that I could never afford and was REALLY DRAINED!

Glot and Hati comparison

As always, these are COMPLETELY unedited.
I didn't take in my good camera either. This is just a normal digital camera with the basic auto setting - no pretty functions!
Basically, what you're seeing is what you get!

As I said, in the process of re-sizing and putting up pictures right now!
So, please be a little patient if you check my flickr immediately and there's nothing there!​

I had a real problem not squealing at them in my seat.
They are actually SO adorable in person, infinitely better than on the site I felt! (and I liked them on the site!)

Do not want to have to make this decision, no I don't xD

 

Maybe the furriness is their wolfiness creeping into your camera? Thanks for the comparison pic between Glot and Hati, too, they do look a lot more different than I'd realised. ^^ By the way, do they have the full sets of Glot and Glati on display too, as well as Skoll and Hati?

Sadly no, they don't have a full set Glot and Glati up.
The way it works is, they get the dolls in from Korea after they've had their photos taken for the internet. The original dolls sit in the store in Japan throughout the order period, then get sent back to Korea.
The dolls then don't return to the store until they've started actually shipping to customers.
I was really hoping Heliot would be in the store today at last, but apparently Soom's priority is to get the dolls out to the customers first before worrying about making a doll to sit in the store.

So basically, I suspect Glot and Glati won't be in the store until they actually start to ship!

I found seeing Hati & Skoll in person though really gave me a better perspective of what these little teenies are actually like though, and plan to keep going in every month to check out the new dolls!

 

Ahh, I see, that makes sense, thanks. It's a good way to pull more people in. ^^

 

After thinking over, I really do like them, but I'm going to wait to see if the May doll is a big version. they would it one of my character-races perfectly, and it would count as my grad gift. If not, I may hunt for a little one after the arrivals.

I'm still having real problems on this one...

I REALLY like Hati... she's adorable. I mean she totally stole my heart today.
But my main reason for having dolls (aside the collector in me!) is for my photography.
As sad as it is to say, I don't think Hati is really needed in that sense.
For me, Minis and larger dolls are the best for photography (minis are great just cause they take up the least space so you can get away with setting smaller scenes).
Teenies are great for certain things, but the general themes that run through my work involve older dolls. Plus I already have my Luna (msdoll Pan) at home, Lilith (Glot) on the way, and am on a search for a Custom House bisou ai and a Rosen Lied Tuesday's Child (both teenies).. so do I REALLY need Hati too??
Plus, Hati is adorable, but for my photography, I like my girl's to have an edge (my themes are always dark)
Basically, if I got Hati it would be more for the fact that I simply like her, and the collector in me is shouting out YES YES YES. But can I really justify spending that much on a doll that's going to sit on my shelf? NOT REALLY!

So I might have to force myself to pass on this one. As horribly sad as that is!

True! I mean, most likely by the time they start arriving, we'll have gotten through a chunk more of the teenies and I'll know then whether or not Hati WAS for me, or whether I ended up with a couple more teeny MDs along the way!

Wow how much I hope next years MDs are all giant mecha angels.
They'll be beautiful, but I won't be half as tempted cause I just don't have the funds or the space for dolls that big!!!

 

I want a boyish girl GEM sized girl... next XD but that aint gunna happen... I wonder if super gem heads look okay on gem bodies though o_o;


... I'm still hoping for a ferret part tiny... >8D I would be all over the parts (and maybe the doll itself) in a heart beat..

The silvery type is Hati. The goldy type is Skoll!
That's my understanding at least!
